Girls Camp Day 3

Wednesday at camp we let the girls sleep until 8:30! It was awesome! We got up and had yummy breakfast burritos while we listened to our morning devotional. The girls then did a T-shirt craft which turned out way cute! They did half of the craft and had to let it dry so we went and did our service project for the camp. The girls got to split logs with the machine and then they had a line of girls to put it in the shed. It was nice for the girls to see where we would get our wood each night for our camp fire and for them to know they helped do it! For lunch we had walking tacos and then we walked to a big field and played yard games for a couple hours. We played a fun game of Swedish twister. I had never heard of it and it had us laughing so hard. What you do is you have to move a foot to touch the person to the right of your foot and they have to take the foot you touched and touch the person next to them and you go around in a circle. The object is to try and touch a foot that would make them fall, because if you move a foot or touch the ground with your hands you are out. Some girls were definitely nicer than others but it was hilarious! We played duck duck goose with our Bishop and it was so funny to watch!
After yard games the girls finished their shirt craft and we worked to finish the rest of their certification. We then had dinner and then Kelly put together an awesome activity/devotional on individual worth she called Celebrate YOU!! This activity was so amazing and she did such a good job. At the end the girls each had to write on a heart a quality they love about themselves. Then we each got big hearts to wear on our backs and we went down the line and wrote something we loved about that person. I was the first to write on each girls and it was hard for some but I had luckily felt like I knew most of them well enough by then! We then sent the girls to their tents and we finished our dinner dishes and enjoyed chatting! I loved getting to know each YW leader better while at camp! The girls all were amazing when it came to going to bed. The beehives would play games and sing primary songs in their tent, it was such a sweet thing to hear! We didn't have any issues with getting the girls to quiet down and go to bed all week, which was a miracle!

Splitting logs!

They were all singing while they passed the logs along it was so cute!

Standing in the field looking at the mountains! It was so beautiful up there!

Kyanna and Reagan
Kelly and Mikaela
Aly and Bishop Westenskow
Jenny and Cariel got really close at camp :) This was Swedish twister
Some of us ended up in the splits during the game!

Our Celebrate YOU activity! I loved this!
Our underwear from skits we hung on the YCL's tents! Cariel was my partner in crime all week! Sadly she moved from our ward last week :(

This was the beginning of the twister game where we look somewhat normal!
I love this, Jenny wanting Eva to give her a hand and Eva is laughing at her!
