I have never had professional newborn pictures taken. While pregnant I really wanted to and then once she was born I kind of changed my mind. I didn't want to spend the money on it and didn't think I could find the time to fit it in. Well Fotofly decided to train some new photographers and do sessions for half price so I signed up, I was shocked to have gotten an appointment since they only did it for two weeks. Well I decided since it was the week of Valentines to also get some of all the kids and surprise Andrew. So the day came to do it and I was just getting the kids all ready and was about to feed Addie since we had an hour to be there. Well Andrew calls and says the someone was Fotofly was trying to get a hold of me to talk about my sesssion. So there goes that surprise! I acted like I had totally forgot in hopes of maybe keep it somewhat of a surprise. Well my session had somehow been switched from a training one to an outdoor one and it caught the photographer eye since I signed up for a newborn session and it February in Utah so I probably really didn't want an outdoor session. Well they had nothing left for the two weeks and I was pretty sad but he worked with me and had me come down later that day. So I rushed Ella to dance and then rushed to get them done getting there a couple minutes late. They were so nice and the owner and other photographer helped the girl that was training that did my pictures. They stayed open an extra hour just to fit me in! It was a great experience and the kids did really well. We got done so late and Andrew was trying to find out where I was so it didn't end up being a surprise but he still got some prints for his gift! I loved the way they turned out and am so glad I have them now!
