Family Pictures

We had our family pictures taken the first week of October. I had wanted some more done before we have our next baby. I had decided to use FotoFly Away at Thanksgiving Point but never got myself an appointment. Well I waited to long because they were already booked up for the rest of the year. I stalked their website for about a week trying to catch a cancellation and find one that would work for us. I finally got one on Monday for that Friday morning. It was perfect time of day usually when the kids are happiest. I had most of what we were going to wear for our pictures except mine and Andrew's. I finally found my shirt at Target after 5 stores and my last stop of the day and I was giving up on Andrew's was Nordstroms Rack. I found his shirt and then it rung up on clearance so I felt really good! The night before our pictures was Easton's awful night of being up for 4 hours so we were prepared for the worst but he did just great he was just a little serious! It was also about 39 degrees during our pictures! Our cute photographer gave our kids he had warmers between shots to keep warm! I really liked our experience down there and absolutely love our pictures!
I love these two individuals of the kids!

Easton seriously does give the best kisses he is so sweet!

I was a little hesitant when she told me to put him on the rock in the middle of the creek, she doesn't know this kid I thought!

Conference

We were able to enjoy conference a few weeks ago! We were able to go down to City Creek while the guys went to Priesthood and shop! Macy's had a fun fashion show and had cookies and bottled water for everyone! The best part was we happened to be in the right place at the right time and they were handing out $15 gift cards to use that night! Some of us ended up with two which was awesome! I was able to get myself a maternity shirt, Ella some leggings, and Easton some new pajamas! It made the night all worth it! We spent most of the 2 hours in Macy's and then went over to Ruum to see what they had, it is a fun new kids store here! The best part of Ruum was the cashier had a southern accent and so my mom asked her where she was from and she assumed we really wouldn't know where the heck she was talking about but she said she was born and raised in Olive Branch, Mississippi, which is the city next to where we lived. It was really fun to talk to her. She had just moved here 3 months ago and said it has been really hard but she is starting to like it. I told her I felt the same way when I moved back there and that I learned to love it and that I really miss parts of it now!

After Macy's and Ruum we headed over to the Lion House where we met the guys and got some dinner! It was Andrew and my 8th Anniversary and so we stuck our kids at a table and went and sat at a two person table alone just to make it feel like we celebrated a little! This was the only picture I took that entire day of us! We had said we weren't getting anything for each other but he came home with these pretty roses! Someday we may actually celebrate our anniversary but who knows!

Birthday Party

The middle of September Ella went to a birthday party for a girl in her primary class. I have really loved being back in our ward again, her class has a few boys and she had 3 little girls in her class. The nice part has been that they all have fall birthdays so they all could be in the same grade someday but sadly probably none of them will end up in school together but it has still been fun to have so many fun options for playtime! They threw a mom and me party and it was fashion theme. The girls came in their princess dresses and shoes and she had a table of fun accessories for them to dress up in before the big fashion show! The girls were all in heaven! Then we started and Ella went first, not sure why we didn't let the birthday girl go first! Ella was in heaven! She had a lot of fun!

Couldn't find Ella's dress up shoes that morning so bare foot it was!
They had this awesome backdrop for them to go to!

The two girls on the end are a cousin I think and another friend and the four girls in the middle are all in the same primary class, well they were Ella's little friend Stella just moved and to say she misses her is an understatement!

The girls then went and made these fun crowns with foam glitter stickers and had a fun snack of cheese and crackers, and some yummy fruit!

Birthday parties aren't fun without the party blowers!

Primary Program

Ella's Primary Program was the first part of September. She was more than excited to sing and say her part. She had it memorized for weeks and did such a great job. We had the songs for the program in our car and listened to them A LOT! She didn't want anything else on for weeks but it helped her learn a couple of the songs she wasn't 100% on better. She knew every word to every song and sang really well! I thought maybe she would freeze saying her part in front of the whole ward but she got up there and said it with such ease! I can't believe I have a child in the primary program! She loves primary and talks about it non stop!

Her part she was assigned was: The Prophet teaches me to pay tithing, but she changed it to "the Prophet teaches me how to pay tithing."

Zoned

We really enjoyed having our Texas cousins here with us for the last three weeks! We did so many fun things and spent all day almost everyday together! We were all exhausted every night and my kids would fall right to sleep! We did a lot of canning while they were here and getting 5 kids to not run circles in my parents house is no easy task. It was pretty wild and crazy at some points :). Thankfully my parents Netflix came in handy more than a few times. This day was really funny they were all zoned in on whatever it was they were watching, but it kept them out of our hair while we made dinner or something! They left at the beginning of this week and we miss them already! We have had a lot of housework to catch up on so we haven't been to bored yet!

Canyon

A couple weeks ago we headed up Millcreek Canyon for a nice afternoon with Andrew's sister Becky and her husband Daniel. It was nice to be up there and really pretty but it ended up being quite a mess. I was pretty grumpy and once we got there Easton had to go potty and wouldn't go anywhere! Boys are supposed to like to go anywhere and he just cried and we felt like we were torturing him. It was pretty traumatic for us all and I feel bad about it still but thankfully since he has gotten better. We still enjoyed roasting hot dogs and smores and seeing all the pretty fall colors! I missed the mountains in the fall, they are so beautiful!
