Gingerbread Houses

The Saturday after Thanksgiving we did Gingerbread houses! We have done them that day for as long as I can remember! My mom is awesome and bakes all the houses and gets the cement and frosting ready for them for us! We are trying to learn so that someday we can do it too. It is such a fun tradition and my kids love it!

Black Friday

We love to go Black Friday shopping. We have a few stores we always go to and we usually start at about 8 am. It is hard when Andrew has to work but my awesome Dad took my older two kids for the day and I took Addie. I usually get over half my shopping done that day so there isn't really any way I could have my kids with me. I really appreciated him taking them since Andrew had to work this year. By about 2 in the afternoon Addie was done. We had made it to Gymboree which was our last stop and she completely crashed! She had done so well and then just fell to sleep! 

Thanksgiving

This year we had Thanksgiving with my family. We woke up and had some Monkey bread for breakfast! We watched the parade and the kids loved seeings all the big balloons! We had dinner at my Uncle Todd and Aunt Lara's house. It is always a big group like around 50 but it is so fun! We had a yummy dinner and such a nice evening.

Pre Thanksgiving

The day before Thanksgiving the kids were off of school so we spent the day helping my mom get some food ready for the next day. We got done and were completely exhausted so we headed to Italian Village for dinner! We had to wait a bit for a table since there was about 12 of us. It was so yummy! 

Addie had a long day and pulled her hair out and had food everywhere! It was awesome!

Baby Lucy

My little sister Katy had her sweet baby Lucy on Sunday November 22nd. We were so grateful she was here safe and sound! The girls and my dad all went to the hospital that night to see her! It was so fun to hold her and snuggle her! She is absolutely darling! Addie is in love with her and she always has to know "where baby luc go?" She loves her!

Ella's Birthday at School

Ella was finally able to celebrate her birthday at school the Friday after. I'm not sure why we couldn't on her actual day but oh well! We took in her poster we made in preschool just changing out a couple pictures! I was so glad I had that the night before! Her teacher told me to bring in a favorite book to read to the class but we picked two! For her treat she handed out her current favorite Reeses Peanut butter cups! She loved it!

Young Women

I am currently the Mia Maid advisor. I really love my calling it is helping me grow and learn. I also have a hard time with it. We have some really hard girls and but they are all amazing. We have a few girls that don't get along which can be difficult. All in all I really love it! November we had our YW in Excellence. It is amazing to see the girls come together for something like this! Jenny and I had fun decorating the refreshment table! It turned out to be a wonderful night!

We had each girl display a talent of something they did that year. These girls are so creative and came up with amazing things!

A couple weeks after that we had a surprise birthday party for a new beehive. She is autistic and she was so excited we would throw a party just for her! She is the sweetest! The girls wanted to play Swedish twister from girls camp so we played that! They also were playing something else in this I can't remember what?!?
