Birthday Party Part 3

Once we were done opening gifts we sang Happy Birthday. We did Ella first and then East. Easton just wanted to touch the candle and tried luckily we grabbed him before he did!

I love how she blows it is so cute. I ended up helping her in the end blow them out. When I was lighting them she managed to blow them out it was funny!

Glad I can be the happy one! Easton has a great scowl! What do I do with this?

Once he tasted it there was no turning back he was in heaven!

We let him have at the big one for a minute! He was a cute sticky mess by the end!

He was not happy when we got him down he wanted to keep eating and playing in it!Grandma was nice to read a story with the girls while Easton had a bath! All in all it was a fun birthday party! I really didn't think I was going to pull it off and get all the stuff done I wanted but I did! I decided that I really liked the theme and may do it again when Ella is a little older like 8 or 10. I have some good game ideas in my head that would be fun with older kids!

Party Part 2

After we ate they opened presents. They are sure spoiled! Ella got a lot of Princess stuff and Easton got lots of boy things like trucks! Ella had a lot of fun opening presents, she finally gets it! She just wanted to go from one to the next. We tried hard to get her to thank everybody but she was busy!

She got lots of books! Her grandma's on both sides know her very well!

Easton fit very well in one of his sacks. He doesn't get it yet but he did better than Ella did on her first birthday!

I was trying to get her to look at what she got for longer than ten seconds before she rushed to get another one to open! She got this cute Tangled dress from her Grandma Brown. She wanted it on right away and I have found her a few times this week trying to get back into it!Pausing from opening to read a book!

We got Easton some new shoes. He doesn't really have any that fit anymore and once he starts walking he will wear them more.

My Grandma got him this cute book that I can write in about how Easton was when he turned 1. I am excited to get it filled out and put a newer picture of him in it!The kid finally gets boy toys yet he goes right back to the girl stuff, go figure! Can't go a day without a hug from Ella!I was trying to get a good picture of the kids clothes. I made Ella's skirt to match the birthday banner and then I ironed on a 1 to Easton's shirt with some trucks on the bottom and a 2 on Ella's shirt with some flowers.

Ella and Easton's Birthday Party Part 1

*We took over 125 pictures from their party so it is being broke up into three posts!
A couple days after we got to Utah we had a birthday party for Ella and Easton. Ella had just had her birthday and Easton's is coming up this week. We had just a small get together with my siblings and Andrew's siblings and our parents. I had seen ideas a few months back for a bubblegum birthday party so we went from there. I had a lot of ideas floating around in my head and was able to make some of those comes to light. I had a lot of fun planning it and it turned out better than I could have expected. I owe a lot of credit to my sister in law Celyn who helped me a ton the day of to get things put together.
I found this birthday banner on Pinterest and made two of them.
Celyn decorated the cake and cupcakes for me. I can't take credit for these except I made the cake and rolled them into balls but Andrew gets most the credit. I did one and got so frustrated that he told me to leave and do something else he would take care of it. He did an awesome job of making Bubblegum machine cake pops for us. They turned out so cute and tasted good too! Another Pinterest idea!
I tried to keep the bubblegum theme but made it bright colored as well. I did these rainbow fruit kabobs, my friend did them at a party we went too so I found them on Pinterest too!
Here is the awesome cake Celyn pretty much did for me. It turned out so cute! Here is our spread. We added a little bit of Memphis to our party and did Pulled Pork Sandwiches with Coleslaw on top. We had chips, fruit kabobs, and cake pops. I made a punch with 7-Up and Raspberry sherbet and I found some cute straws with polka dots. We decorated with lots and lots of Gumballs and a cute little gumball machine. My sister Emily put together some favors for me some little bags with big and little gumballs!Andrew's Family. We missed his brother and family.
