St George

Last weekend we had an opportunity to go down to St. George with my family. My little sister was dancing and Andrew had some interviews in Vegas. We headed down Thursday afternoon. We drove with my parents and the kids slept most of the way. We got there and enjoyed playing outside in the sunshine and with green grass! My family had rented a townhouse that fit all of us and it was brand new. It was so nice! We enjoyed it and hope to stay in it again! We had a nice dinner on Thursday and then went swimming. Friday Andrew got up early and drove to Vegas (thanks to my brother in law who let him take his car for the day!) He was gone until about 4. That morning the kids enjoyed playing on the playground while I went to the clubhouse and worked out with my Grandma! While he was gone we watched Sarah dance her duet and wandered through some stores and then went to a park for the kids to play.  He then met us and we all had dinner together. Later that night we watched her dance again and then got the guys Frosty's and then the girls went and got Frozen Yogurt while the guys put the kids down! It was a great little break! Saturday we all got up early and went to watch Sarah dance one last time. After we went to a little cafe for breakfast and we waited for about an hour to get a table. The food was so good though! We then headed back to the townhouse and the guys went golfing and we watched a movie and then went to the outlets. The guys golfed 18 holes which takes forever and then met us for dinner. We then let the guys go home and we went and wandered the mall until they closed. Sunday we woke up and went to church and then headed home! It was such a nice weekend and just what we needed! Thanks to my family for inviting us to come they were so kind and generous with us!
I remember not to long ago when swings terrified her! She only wanted to swing for the whole 45 min we were there!
They loved playing outside! I love the green grass, the one thing I don't miss about the South is the terrible grass, if that is what you can even call it!

Always has a ball in his hands!
Ella had a fascination with this stick the whole weekend!
Jack Jack as my kids call him!

I just love this picture of Easton!

Ella loved watching all the dancers, she was zoned! Also a good side view of how short her hair is!
My brother in law Kyle made a sign for Sarah!
She choreographed a duet and performed it with another girl.

This is the only picture I can find of the house we stayed in, thanks to my sister for taking it!
This got out of order, but this was Ella riding in my sisters car facing backwards. We were going to the mall and the guys wanted to go home so this is how she rode, it was funny!
Our kids love my sister Katy and Kyle, they preferred them most of the weekend, thanks guys for taking care of them!

Hair Cut

Last week I had Ella's hair cut.The last time she had a cut was over a year ago and it was just a little trim. This was the real deal. Her hair was a little uneven again and I was ready for a change. It was getting really long and hard to manage with tangles and all. My neighbor was so  nice and let us come over and she cut it for me. She took off I think about 4 inches. It is so cute now! I need to take a picture of the back of it. She sat so still and watched a movie while she cut it. She was so excited to get it cut. I told her the day before and it was all she could think and talk about. She told me over and over again she needed to go now and get it cut. The night before she said she couldn't go to bed because she had to get a haircut I told her that Candace wasn't home and wouldn't be until after she was asleep so she went to sleep and woke up the next morning so excited!

Nice Weather

Last week the weather was so nice! It was so Spring like! We called my Grandma and headed up to her house and went on a long walk through her neighborhood! Ella enjoyed walking with her until she was tired and then rode in the stroller. My Grandma even gave her a hat to wear! After our walk we had a yummy lunch together and then we headed on home! Easton fell asleep on the way home so that was it for naps that day so we decided to play at the playground. We didn't even go inside we walked right over and the kids played. Slowly more and more kids came out to play! It was fun the kids did chalk, bubbles, and all rode bikes and shared! It was nice to just sit and talk to old friends and new ones! It was such a fun day! We didn't come inside until after 6! We had been outside playing for 4 hours! It was just what we needed after such a long winter!

Airborne

Last Tuesday we went with some friends to Airborne, a trampoline bounce place! I knew Easton would love it because he goes through life jumping! They had so much fun and let out so much energy! They were both sad when we had to leave, two hours just wasn't long enough for them! (it was plenty long for me!) They went to sleep so fast that night and slept really good! These are kind of blurry they were taken on my phone and the kids were moving!

Ella

I found this pictures on Andrew's phone. Ella is so funny sometimes! She loves dress-ups, trying everything on accessory wise when we are shopping and so on. She is such a girly girl! She keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh daily! She is turning into quite the little girl. She has to be told a lot to not strangle Easton and that is what lands her in timeout most days! She is also a little tattle tale! She tells me everything Easton is doing wrong or has done wrong and is already a great 2nd Mom to him, it drives me crazy! We are working on letting me be the mom!
Her hair can drive me crazy a lot of times! It is so curly, yet so fine! It is hard to get it to stay in without lots of hair products! I need to invest in some good one someday! Her hair has a lot static and did this day sitting on my mom's couch!
This describes her perfectly!
