Trunk or Treat
Last night was our wards trunk or treat! Ella went as a Bee! There were lots of Bees this year! Andrew walked her around to a few cars just for fun with her Easter bucket!
They had a trunk decorating contest we had no idea about. The sister missionaries were in charge of picking and they picked our truck! We were excited we won this candle! They took our picture for us and made us hold the candle up. They were funny!
Enjoying Life
Ella enjoys life! She cracks herself up! She is such a blessing in our lives! She is so fun but she makes me so tired! I love nap time!
I couldn't get a picture without her eyes somewhat closed she loves to see how close she can get to the camera before we pull it away!
She loves it even better when her dad makes her hair stand up! It helped to see how long it was getting!
We went to find a shirt to go under her Halloween costume the other day and found these Christmas outfits at Children's Place! They have matching boy and girl church clothes! We just might have to wander back this weekend when they go on sale and we can use our coupon! She actually wasn't trying to take the hat off which was amazing!
Pumpkin Patch
Last Saturday after the Vision Walk and a nap for Ella we headed to the pumpkin patch! It was a lot of fun although I would rather pick my pumpkin from the patch not a field where they placed them! We got to ride the hay ride over to the "patch." We also got to do their corn maze and wander around the farm a bit. It will be more fun when Ella can walk and explore it more! We went home with some great pumpkins and a hay bale for our front porch! It was such a great day to get to spend it with Andrew, I helped him to not study the whole day and it was awesome! We ended the night at a local ice cream place and had some yummy ice cream!
Vision Walk
Last Saturday was the annual Vision Walk in Memphis. We joined in hoping Andrew will get some extra credit next semester! It was a lot warmer then last years walk we didn't need jackets! The walk was supposed to be 3 miles but someone up front took a wrong turn and it ended up being about 25 min and only about a mile! After we enjoyed hot dogs, chips, Ella got to go down the slide and get her face painted! She actually sat still long enough to get a pumpkin on her face!

Family Pictures
Last week my friend Savannah did some family pictures for us! She did such an awesome job! We were worried we weren't going to be able to do them this day because it was pouring rain (hasn't rained in months but it decided to this day!) but it stopped and made it perfect for pictures! I can't pick a favorite, this is one of them! Check some more out on her website:

11 Months!!!
That month went by so fast! She is growing up to fast! She is such a joy! We started giving her some of our food this last week at dinner and what not and so far she has liked a lot of what we have offered! She keeps us on our toes and won't hold still for anything, not even a picture for her 11 month day! She still loves when her dad comes home and the second she hears the garage door go up she says hi and knows who is going to come in the door! She loves to go on walks with me in the morning, maybe it is because I give her animal crackers! Can't wait until next month when we can celebrate her birthday!

Books
Ella has really started to love books lately, she will actually sit for a minute and read with me! She has her favorites one you can tell since it is in shambles! We bought a couple new ones this week!
Homecoming BBQ
Last week Andrew's school had their annual "homecoming" festivities. Friday they had Interstate Barbecue like they always do for dinner! It was really good! We enjoyed some fun little games of ring toss and bean bag toss and just sat and enjoyed the weather and talking to fellow students!
Mid South Fair
Last week we wandered over to the Fair since it was right across the street! It was definitely different from fairs in Utah! The weather was absolutely perfect except it was a bit windy. We enjoyed the music from Switchfoot playing that night, we just listened to a few songs luckily it was the songs from A Walk to Remember so we knew them! We just wandered around and went and saw the petting zoo and enjoyed some fried food (ok the food wasn't all that great)! The cotton candy was though! I'm not sure we enjoyed all our money's worth cause Ella was tired and not really into it, luckily we parked for free not sure why they let us in and stopped the cars in front of and behind us, Andrew tried to put his money out the window but they told us to keep driving, oh well! Oh and if one more person calls her a boy I might scream! It hasn't happend until the last couple weeks! I walked away from a lady still talking to me the other day at Target cause she kept saying he after I had said she! You'd think pink shoes and ruffles on the bottom of our pants would be a clue! She won't keep a bow in! Some people we just ignore if they say he!
5 Years!!!
Tuesday the 5th we celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary! Andrew planned the whole thing, he even got someone to watch Ella and didn't tell me til that morning! A big thanks to the Shurtz for watching her we really appreciate it. He had gotten take out and had gone and bought wood bowls to eat it out of since 5 year anniversary is "wood." He even made me "attempt" to use chop sticks since they are wood too! The weather was perfect to sit at a park and eat our dinner! Before we went to pick up Ella we went and enjoyed some dessert crepes together at the Crepe Maker. I hadn't been there in a since spring they tasted so good!
