Sugar Cookies Take 2

We enjoyed decorating cookies so much the first time we decided to do it again. So last week for FHE we made our own pumpkin sugar cookies and frosted and decorated them. Ella really liked putting the candy on and if I hadn't helped her with the sprinkles I think she would have used the whole bottle! It was fun despite it being almost bedtime before we got started but it was still fun!

She was counting how many she has except she can't get past three so we have 1,2,3 at least three times over!

Her masterpiece once she ate all the candy off!

Love her smile!

I think this was the day before she found this headband we had put up and kept it on all day! She loves to carry her blanket around with her but I am not a fan of it so we try and put it up so she can't go get it off of her bed. She is good at excuses though because she will come out with it wrapped around her and she will claim she is cold even when it is scorching or she will say to us "I got this," all happy and proud of herself!

Pumpkin Sweater

Along with the pumpkin hat in our package from Grandma was this cute sweater. I forgot that my mom had got it last winter while we were shopping together. It is really cute on her and she got a lot of compliments on it!

She tells me to take her picture then she bends over and.....
Purposely closes her eyes, because 90% of the pictures I take of her with her eyes closed aren't enough?!?

Then she says "Mom Cheese" which means she wants my picture and this is what we get since Dad was out of town on a RAM trip.

Somehow I ended up with a shadow on this one but it was really cute of her!

Poor Easton his pants were to big and kept coming off after crawling around so we left them off!

Family Picture Outtakes

It is not an easy feat to get two small kids to smile and look at the camera at the exact same time. If one was happy the other wasn't and so on. Although the people behind the camera were pretty entertaining :). I was really happy with how many really good pictures we got! Some of these are funny some are just of the kids playing between pictures.

Ella is definitely not going to be the leader type she is a follower. She loves to follow Garrett.

The next four pictures are of how quickly our bridge idea was taken down by Ella. Here she is trying to get up. Andrew and Easton still focused on saying cheese.

She is saying see ya later guys I am done with this and Easton is falling fast!
I think we have lost her for good!

Trying one last time to get a picture. She did not like this at all and I pulled her legs down to get her to lay and she hit her head so we were really done after that!

Finally I can run and play for a minute!

She was I believe laughing at Garrett who was playing peek a boo behind his mom taking the picture!

She was not happy to sit on the rock! Easton has the whatever attitude most of the time!

Fall Family Pictures

Last Friday afternoon we went with our friends the Lants and swapped family photos. It worked out really well! We went up to the Memphis Botanic Gardens. I had never been before and was really impressed! It was beautiful. We even got a free 6 month pass since we are so poor, so we will be going back again! It was such a nice day to take pictures!

We blew this one up really big for our living room!

I really liked this one but notice Andrew's eyes. It was the only good one of the kids! If anyone knows how to eye swap or has a program to do it let me know!

Watch soon for the outtakes of our photo shoot because there are lots of those!

Not His Favorite

Easton is the best little eater. He has never cringed or gagged on anything I have given him, that was until last week! I had got a new jar I think it was chicken with mixed vegetables or something but he HATED it! He would gag, shiver, and eventually after every bite he would rub his eyes, I guess that helped?!? I managed to get him to eat it all (I am mean I know!). He was such a mess when he got done he has never looked so messy! Andrew took him straight to the bath after dinner!

Finally it is gone, thanks!

Snack Time

After naps we try to have a little snack. Easton thinks that it is great! The more food he gets in a day the better in his eyes! He totally knows what say cheese or smile for the camera means, I guess he is used to it now!

I literally took 10 pictures and this one her eyes were open more than the other 9! She is frustrating her eyes always close! My mom sent a package last week and this pumpkin hat was in it! Ella kept it by her side during her nap and then told me all about it when she got up and kept it on all night!

She tried Go Gurts for the first time a couple weeks ago as well and she loves them! She loves yogurt in general so I wasn't to surprised!

I love her little curls hanging out the back!

Sugar Cookies Take 1

Last Week we had some friends from Memphis down to have a little Halloween get together. We had them last year to carve pumpkins and we were long overdue to get together again! We started the night with Chili and Cornbread which turned out perfect since temperatures had fallen about 40 degrees that day so it was nice to have something warm! We originally planned to carve pumpkins again but decided that day to make sugar cookies and decorate them! It was a lot of fun and they were yummy!
Ella caught on to the whole candy cookie thing and was in heaven!

This was their little boys cookie. He was so proud of it!

Easton was super whiny! He just wanted to be doing what the big kids were doing and was kind of getting sick of the animal crackers I kept giving him to keep him quiet! He just started throwing them on the ground!

Andrew's Cookies. Ella loved the owl, she is kind of obsessed with owls!
