Zoo

The weather this December has been unusually warm. It has been about 60 everyday! Wednesday after story time we headed down to the Zoo with my sister and her kids! It was such a nice day and we pretty much had the place to ourselves!

Story time

Last Wednesday we went over to story time! I know the kids really love it I don't know why we don't go more like we used to! We got there about 30 minutes early and the kids enjoyed looking at books and we read a few together!

Easton was so cute and pulled a chair over like he was going to put on story time! It was the cutest thing!

Random

Andrew's office staff, his techs, receptionist, and opticians put together this amazing basket for him! They all love him and really enjoy working with him! We have enjoyed all the yummy treats this week!
Easton and his faces!

I bought some star wreaths for our lights, and I love how they look!

Work party

Last Tuesday was Andrew's Work Christmas Party. It was at a place called Roosters. We had a nice dinner and his boss talked. We do a little gift exchange and it is interesting to see what everyone gets! We had some yummy dessert as well! His boss always makes Andrew give a little speech, it is kind of funny! His boss went off on how much he loves everyone in the office and how thankful he is for everyone for all they have done this year to grow the business. They handed out jackets for all the employees and we all went home with a Harry and David gift basket. It was such a fun night and I was so full when we left! It was nice to get away from the kids, it was Addie's first time with a babysitter that wasn't an aunt or grandma! I absolutely love babysitters there is no value on having kids asleep in their beds when we get home!

Addie

Addie I'm pretty sure has more pictures between birth and one than the other two due to having a phone to take pictures on!
She loves to stand up and will find anything she can stand to, until this day she stood up and acted like she was dying standing there and freaked out!

The kids and I went to Wendy's a couple weeks ago for lunch. I had been driving around all morning while Ella was at school trying to get all my errands run. Some days it is just easier to get lunch than to go home and eat and then leave again! Addie therefore hadn't really had her morning nap and every time she would fall asleep in the car I would wake her up to get her out again! When I went into Wendy's she crashed in my arms as I ordered and slept the whole time we ate! She looked so sweet while she was sleeping!

Then she woke up and was so snugly and sweet!
Her favorite thing to do is drop her food usually cheerios on the floor and then when I get her down it is the first thing she heads for to eat! Good thing I mop and sweep so much!

She loves to go over to the back door and bang on it and stand up to it and lick it! I can't keep those windows clean!

Festival of Trees

Last Saturday we went to the Festival of Trees! I love to go every year! It is amazing the trees people decorate! This year we went the last two hours they were open! We tried to get there earlier but our food at dinner took a really long time to get to us!

There were a few trees this year we wanted to see. One of them was this one for my mom's neighbor. He was a firefighter for Murray City and died while on a anniversary trip with his wife in Hawaii this summer! He was so young and it has been hard for everyone! It was pretty emotional for all of us to see his tree!

The next tree I wanted to see was my friend Marissa's tree. She helped put it together for some friends of hers that lost a little baby boy last year. She is the kindest most selfless person I know!
I saw this quiet book and really want one!
A lady that used to be in my parents ward put together this really cute Candy land tree!

Easton's birthday

I cannot believe my Easton is 4! He has grown up so much this last year! He is such a joy to have in our home! I am so thankful he came so close after Ella, I truly believe it was what was supposed to be and I don't regret it at all! I love having them so close together! They can be each other's best friend one minute and worst enemy the next! Easton has the most tender heart and is very emotional but he is all boy! He has the biggest hands and mouth and feet! He loves cars, trucks, planes, helicopters, and trains! He is really good and playing by himself and staying busy! He is my little buddy while Ella is at school and thinks that now he is 4 that it is time for him to go, I just don't want to let him yet! I took him in for his yearly checkup and he grew a ton. He weighs 35 lbs 6 oz and is 40 1/2 inches tall. So he weighs a pound more than Ella but is an inch shorter! Since March he grew almost 3 inches! He also got his Kindergarten shots with Ella! I figured it would be easier to do them at the same time!

On his birthday we got up and had some German Pancakes per his request! Then he opened up a gift with his plane shirt in it to wear that day!

While we waited for the party guests to arrive he crashed on the couch! I love this boy and his love of naps! He will tell me he is tired and go and lay in his bed and sleep! He would nap daily if I let him but I can't or he is up every night past 11!

For dinner we had pancakes, eggs, sausage, bacon, and orange juice! He was on a breakfast food kick this year! Then he opened presents from everyone!
A new helicopter from Jack!

A fun new fire truck from Katy and Kyle!

What he waited all day to open, a Ninja Turtle car! He wanted this so bad and I had him convinced I hadn't bought it!
New pajama pants just like dads! He really wanted red plaid pajamas with a drawstring just like Andrew's! He loves to match and be like his dad!

Going the rounds giving everyone Thank you hugs!
By his birthday we are kind of tired of cake so I made an eclair cake! It turned out really good!
