Cupcake face

The other night we went to Andrew's mom's house and had cupcakes for his Sister's birthday that is coming up! The kids loved them! Easton picked the one with red frosting and he got it everywhere! It was streaked on his fingers and across his face! It stained his face and he had a cute little red streak the next day on his cheek!
Ella makes messy cupcakes look like they aren't messy!

Sunbeam

Easton was so excited to start Sunbeams! He asked every week since his birthday, luckily it was only 4 weeks, when it was time for Primary! He was a little skeptical to go in but he has done really well! The first week my class sat right behind him and it really was a distraction but luckily they moved my class to the other side of the room! They made the kids these cute sunbeam masks and had them come up and we all sang Jesus Wants Me for a Sunbeam to welcome them into primary! It was really cute and it made the kids seem a little more comfortable! Some of the new little sunbeams didn't want to come up so there are a few missing in the picture, all in all there are 12 new kids!

Wedding

Saturday January 4th Andrew's older sister Deb got married. It was a nice day! We first had the ceremony and Easton got to give them the rings! He was a little shy about it but did a great job! After we all got together and took pictures and then went to lunch. Later that night we went back to the church and had a reception. The kids loved running all over the gym and playing with some new friends. They probably ate more cake and candy then they should have but they really had a good time! They both loved when it was time for dancing as well!

Deb got Ella this dress a few months ago and I got Easton's suit last summer on clearance for $10! He looks really cute in it but it is really quite large and should fit for at least 2 more years! He loves dressing just like Dad!

Andrew's three sisters and Deb's new husband Tim!
I didn't seem to take very many pictures once again, hopefully once I'm done being pregnant I can get my energy to do this such as taking pictures back!
Andrew's brother Matt and his family

She could dance her life away, she loves it!

With their cousins Josh and Lindsay! We don't get to see them a whole lot but they sure have fun once they get together!

Last week of class

I snapped these pictures of the kids the last Sunday of the year before we went to our classes. Easton was going to Nursery for the last time and Ella was going to Sunbeams for the last time. Easton was really excited to be done with Nursery luckily he was born right before the cutoff! Ella was a little sad to leave Sunbeams but she has learned so much!

After church we were waiting for Dad to come home and they kept running and pulling each other down. I told them to stop but 2 minutes later I heard a crash and they had both fallen Easton hitting the wall, it was a huge goose egg! It was quite the bruise for the next week!

Playing games

The kids got a couple games for Christmas and we have enjoyed playing them all! The week after Christmas Andrew had to work most days so we kept ourselves busy playing lots of Memory, Candy Land, Princess Yahtzee, and so on! They love to play games just like their dad!

Ward Party

Our ward party was the first part of December. We had a nice dinner catered from Texas Roadhouse and then had a program where they put on the Nativity. It was actually a really cool experience to see. We have a couple in our ward and he has Muscular Dystrophy and has been in a wheelchair his entire life and his wife is blind, they played Mary and Joseph and our Bishop's baby who was born last July 8 weeks early was baby Jesus. The kids all gathered around the manger scene and were all so reverent. The spirit was so strong, it was an amazing thing to witness. We sang songs and then Santa came. The kids all were excited to see Santa and they did pretty well not all going crazy! It was such a great night!

Random

These are from December off of Andrew's phone. December went by so fast but I'm glad we were able to do so many fun things and not have to move or spend days traveling home!
We went to the Festival of Trees! We have gone for years and it is so fun to see all the amazing trees, hopefully someday I can have a halfway decent looking tree! We planned to go after we went to dinner with my family and then it was suddenly a blizzard while we were eating. It snowed a couple inches while we ate but it slowed down and so we went down there, it was only about 3 minutes from our house so it wasn't to bad!
My Grandma and her siblings get together each year with all their posterity for a Christmas Party, once you are 18 you can come. It has gotten so big now that we have it at a church. The Saturday before Christmas we enjoyed going to the annual party and seeing cousins and family we don't usually see a whole lot! It was a fun night!
Ella talking to her cousin Jocey on the phone one night at my mom's house. She really misses Jocey and tells me all the time, we wish they were closer than Texas!
Easton loves babies and especially loved when Timothy was in town!
Ella got this dress up for her birthday from one of Andrew's sisters! She loves it!
I love all of Ella's drawings! This was her first one she included our baby! I love how she draws the bodies with a bunch of circles! We can't keep paper in our printer she takes it all and could go through 50 pieces in a day!

Fall Fun

I finally got the pictures off Andrew's phone. I forget to check his phone and so some of these are from literally months ago, like September or October!
We went a few times to my Grandma's house to help get her yard ready for fall and to play in the leaves. She has quite a few huge mature trees in her yard and so there is always plenty of leaves! The kids loved playing in all the leaves. Looking at these makes me miss being outside, we have cabin fever!

Not sure how this got in the mix but it did!

Christmas

This Christmas was so awesome! It felt a lot different. We felt so blessed this year and we were so excited for what Santa had for the kids! We woke up bright and early at 6. I think I finally got to sleep just before 3! I was exhausted! We saw what Santa had brought us and slowly opened the rest of our gifts. We then were able to Skype my little brother. He looked and sounded great and still is just the same! We got to say hi to the family that had taken them in for Christmas Day and where they were eating. After we Skyped we went and had breakfast with my mom's family. It has been a few years since we have all been together for Christmas Breakfast. It tasted so good! We stayed until about 1 and then went home and we all crashed! The kids, Andrew, and I all slept for more than 3 hours! I felt so much better! We then spent the rest of the day at my Aunt and Uncles house for dinner and the boys played all their new board games! It was such a wonderful day! We really missed seeing Andrew's family but that Friday the 27th we got together to celebrate Christmas. We had a yummy dinner and snacked and then we all headed to the movies. Some people saw the Hobbit and the rest of us saw Frozen. The kids absolutely loved it and asked if we could watch it again (luckily we went the next week again with my family!). After the movies we went back to Andrew's mom's house and we did our gift exchange and white elephant exchange! It was really late by the time we were done but we were having to good of a time to notice how late it was! We got home just after midnight! It was such a wonderful Christmas season and we feel so blessed to be near our families and spend the holidays with them! I really failed this year at taking pictures, I'm usually so on top of it but being so pregnant and tired I didn't care! I really just wanted a family picture on Christmas but didn't get one! It was still a great day despite!

Santa got Ella the Bitty Twins from American Girl with their stroller! She also got Princess Candy Land which is the one thing she had asked for! She got some new crayons and a new outfit as well!
Easton got a train table that came with the set. We were just going to get the set but it ended up being such a good deal it really wasn't a whole lot more to get the table! He kept saying he wanted a lot of trains for Christmas, not just one! He also got a garbage truck and some clothes as well!

Playing Games on Christmas!
We took her dolls and strollers with us and she had fun pushing them around, we just need a bigger house then she would enjoy them more I think!
My mom made these yummy sugar cookies and then put them in front of me. I may have eaten a few!

Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve this year was an exceptionally long day! I was so exhausted! It started a couple days before. We were walking into church and there was ice everywhere, no way to really avoid walking on it. Well Ella slipped and I was holding her had and tried to keep her up but ended up falling flat on my stomach! Not exactly a good idea being 34 weeks pregnant. I was a little sore and decided the next morning after persuasion from my mom and Andrew to call the doctor. They told me to come in an be monitored. Well that took 4 hrs! Everything looked and sounded great. It ended up putting me way behind on everything I had to get done. I was supposed to do my laundry that day, grocery shop, etc. So the next morning, being Christmas eve I woke up at 5 and could not go back to sleep so I got up and watched TV for an hour then got dressed and headed to the grocery store. I came home and did my laundry and cleaned. We were having Andrew's family over for Christmas Eve dinner. I had a nice nap for about an hour from 10 to 11 while the kids watched TV. It made me feel rested but not for long! Luckily Andrew came home from work at about 1 to help me! We ended up having a great Christmas Eve dinner. We had yummy sandwiches, soup, veggies, and lots of snack stuff. Afterwards exchanged some gifts and Andrew's sister Becky gave us a really nice devotional and each of us a new nativity set. It was really a wonderful night and nice to relax after a long few days. I feel bad I was so tired that night during it all and didn't get a single picture of any of it!

After they went home we went to my parents with all our gifts to spend the night. It was about 10 by the time we got there! The kids immediately opened their new jammies and each of the kids got new slippers too! We put them to bed but they wouldn't go to sleep right away! Ella fell asleep finally just after midnight and Easton it was after 1!

Jack didn't want Sarah in the picture!
