Choir Concert

Way back a few months ago I put my name in the lottery for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert. We always do it and never seem to get tickets. I was shocked when I got mine! I was excited to go! Last Thursday we went. I took my parents and my sister in law Deb came as my date. The concert was amazing and they had great dancers as well! They had Jane Seymour narrate some parts and Nathan Gunn sing. They both did such an incredible job! It was such a great night!

Christmas Crafts

Found this idea on Pinterest and Ella and I made it one morning together while Easton napped! It has been fun filling up his beard everyday!
Last Friday night my little brother Spencer had a couple friends over for a little while. Ella and Easton were supposed to be getting in bed but instead they warmed right up to the girls and played with them. They were being so cute with them! Ella keeps asking where Julia is, hopefully she gets to see her again before we leave! Ella has this game she loves where you hide under the blanket together so she coaxed them into playing it with her! My kids are so funny they either warm up really well to people or they want nothing to do with them!

Playing

We usually spend the morning by ourselves when we are in Utah. It is nice because we can stick to some sort of routine for the morning of breakfast, exercising, Easton's nap, and so on. It is good for us to have alone time. My kids though always seem to find new ways to entertain themselves and the new way this week is sitting under my mom's table in her entryway. I found a collection of random stuff under it the other day that they had gradually moved there.

Festival of Trees

Every year growing up we would always go to the Festival of Trees. We haven't been as consistently over the years but we decided to go this year. We figured going on a Friday afternoon would be less crowded than at night but it was still pretty crowded. I remember when I was little my mom would always let us pick out a treat at the little stands. We would always pick a train made out of candy. The body would either be a pack of gum or lifesavers with other little candies for the wheels and what not. Sadly they don't sell that type of thing anymore but it is still fun to go see all the amazing trees people put together. We always seem to know a few people who have done a tree and it is fun to find them.

They also have a huge selection of gingerbread houses which are amazing. Someone did this one of Graceland! I had to take a picture of it since we were just there and it is so close to our home.

It was nap time so they weren't too thrilled to be there. Ella loved the Tangled houseI don't know why I can't get this picture the right way but Easton finally gave in and crashed with his head on the bar in front of him so we slowly laid him downOnce you let Ella out of a stroller or cart there is not a chance in the world she will get back in and someone took her out and so they had to carry her when she got tired of walking! We always growing up would also get a scone as we left and so we did and Ella wasn't having any of it so this little fit on the nasty floor happened!

Helper

Ella was so excited to get to help my little brother Spencer decorate one of my mom's trees! She wanted to do all the stars. She loves stars! She also loves Spencer and requests him to come home multiple times a day but he can't because he had finals and lots of work!

We told her to say cheese and smile and this is the reaction we got! She is turning into such a little girl! I am sad she is growing up so fast!

Reaction

Last week we all were sick with colds that never seemed to go away. I decided one day to take some Dayquil to try to feel a little better. I don't think it worked. I still nurse East one time a day and I think he had a reaction to the medicine. His face became very spotty for a couple days. I guess we will have to watch him closely when we give him stuff!

Wedding Ceremony

Andrew's older sister Becky got married on Saturday December 3rd. We started the morning off at the ceremony and then took pictures. My kids (especially Ella) were not happy that morning. We were all starting to get colds and Ella had thrown up a few days before. It was a beautiful ceremony and the bishop that married them gave some really great advice. We are so happy for Becky and Daniel! I was sad Andrew had to miss it but finals were calling his name!

Andrew's mom Marlene, his Grandma Betty, and his sisters Anna, Deb, and Becky!
Some of my pictures aren't the best because I was trying not to get in the photographers way!Ella was only happy if she was with Anna and would not look at the camera!

Easton had only one thing on his mind, to get out the door and down the hall! After Pictures they had a luncheon at Schmidt's Pastry Cottage. The food was really good and the servers were so nice to my kids! They brought them lots of extra mandarin oranges and rolls and treated them very well!I think Easton ate over a cup of oranges! There rolls were really good and then they brought us eclairs which Ella wanted nothing to do with so I gladly ate hers!

Reception

The reception for Becky's wedding was last Saturday. They had it set up so nice with lots of pink and brown. I didn't take very many pictures since I was chasing my kids the whole night but I did get a few good ones but only of the cake and cutting the cake! Her cake was really pretty. I really liked it!

They were pretty nice when it came time to cut the cake!

Becky's Shower

Becky had a shower a few days before the wedding put on by a family friend. We ate lots of yummy food, enjoyed visiting, and watching her open her gifts.

We had yummy fruit and three different types of cream cheese dips for it which was really good. We had veggies and dip, cheese, brownie bites, cinnamon roll bites, and so on!

The gifts!
Ella and Easton enjoyed eating off my plate as always!

Becky is an assistant principal and taught school before that and these were some of her long time teaching friends!

Sleeping Kids

There is something about sleeping kids I could take a million pictures of them! They sleep so funny sometimes. This day Ella had her baby across her face, how do you fall asleep like that? Who knows!

Easton fell asleep on our way home from somewhere and had his neck bent almost all the way back, again not comfortable!

Sarah Dancing

A couple weeks ago we went and watched my little sister dance and cheer. She is on the dance company and cheers as well. The drill team at the high school invited the Jr. High kids to come and perform between their dances in the drill showcase. Ella loved watching and was all eyes. She got really excited when she realized it was Sarah dancing as well! It was fun to be able to see her perform since we don't get the chance to very often!

Ella and Jocey loved watching my dad till the garden. Ella sat and ate her lunch yelling Papa over and over again and once she got down loved staring out the window. Funny how she used to want nothing to do with him and was literally afraid of him and now she is obsessed with him!

She was trying to climb in the window on the little 5 inch ledgeThey were all being so cute with each other and kept doing a group hug! Easton woke up and had to get in on the window watching and yelling! The Sunday after Thanksgiving my brother and his wife were getting ready to go back to Texas. We (the Bibo's) probably won't see the again until June unless they come see us **wink wink** and my mom requested us take a picture of all three boys who were all born within the last year (the total space between the three of them in 350 days) with Tyler being in the middle born at the end of April. Easton looked like the giant and was trying so hard to get off of the chair! Then we had to get a girl picture. Ella and Jocey were being so silly. We did interrupt their ring a round the Rosie's game so they were just wiggly! It is weird to have three boys and only two girls since my mom's family is so predominantly girls. We sure do miss not living close to any cousins!
