He discovered his toes a few weeks ago! He loves to suck on them. It took him a few days to get flexible enough for them to reach his mouth but now he loves that he can suck on them!

First Tooth!!!
May 14th on our drive back from St. Louis I was sitting in the back seat between both car seats (not quite sure how I fit!) Easton grabbed my hand and stuck it in his mouth. I felt around a minute later and felt his first tooth! It is his bottom middle tooth on the right! It has really started to come through since! Last night I noticed his tooth on the other side has poked through! I can't believe he has teeth he seems to young! Ella was almost 9 months old when she got her first tooth! It made sense that he had a tooth after a whiny week and only 3 stinky diapers in 8 days!
This picture turned out with his eyes closed but it was the best one I could get where you can see his tooth! (You have to enlarge it to see the tooth!)

More Outside Fun
The weather has been nice this last week. It really hasn't been to bad yet. It is usually starting to get really bad by now but it has been pretty mild! We were able to go outside a lot this week and play. We are going through sunscreen like crazy around here but it is all worth it!
Easton loves to just sit and watch Ella play, he is a happier baby if she is in his line of sight!
Squash and Fits
Last Sunday I gave Easton his first taste of Squash. Ella never liked it so I thought I would start with it! He loves it. I have given him some everyday this week in his cereal and alone and he loves it. I hope he continues to! Today we gave him green beans and he ate them up! I hope he continues to like other things!
St. Louis Temple
Our first stop in St Louis was the temple. I had driven by it when I was younger but never stopped. I told Andrew that when you drive down the freeway you will go over a little hill and there it will be and I was right. It just was suddenly there. It is a really beautiful temple! We enjoyed walking around the grounds for a bit!
Ella did really well in the car on our drive and definitely had to let some energy out!
Union Station and Hotel!!
Friday Night in St. Louis we went downtown. We went to Union Station first. It was fun to read the history there, it is amazing how trains used to be the main mode of transportation. We walked around for a bit and went and saw their pond with all the fish that really wanted us to feed them! It turned out to be a nice night so we walked around outside for a while! We also went and saw the Arch but didn't get out. It was cool to see at night though!
After we went back to the hotel. We had fun just hanging out together. Andrew finished watching the Grizzilies game and we jumped on the bed! Ella loved it except taking a bath! She was scared to death of the tub! We thought it was going to be awful with both kids in a hotel room but after about 5 min they both were asleep and did really well! It could have been a disaster and I'm glad it wasn't!
Science Center, Planetarium, and Zoo!!!
St. Louis offers a lot of fun free things in their city! We were able to go to the Science Center and Planetarium first thing Saturday morning! It was fun to walk around and see all their different displays. We saw this dinosaur exhibit. We were also able to see an earthquake simulator and a tornado one as well. Kind of interesting to see! We walked across a bridge over the freeway to the planetarium. They had some fun things for kids to try out on our way over. Ella was not at all interested in any of it, could have been the tons of crazy kids! We stayed for a couple hours and then left it was getting to crowded since it was raining outside and there were a lot of school groups, I don't understand why school groups were there on a Saturday!
After we left the science center we had lunch and it stopped raining long enough for us to go to the Zoo! They have such a fun zoo! It is nice that we didn't have to pay to get in! We walked around for a few hrs and then it started raining again so we called it a day!

Semester Break!!!
We had such a fun week with Andrew all to ourselves! We were able to get a lot done around the house as well as do a few fun things together as a family. We played outside a lot, went to the Zoo, we switched babysitting with another couple so we could spend a night at the temple, we had a movie night and watched Tangled and had popcorn, and we drove up to St. Louis! We really enjoyed having him home and it was a tough adjusting sending him back this week!
The pictures are a bit out of order.
Thursday Andrew took on the challenge of grilling hamburgers and hot dogs for all the faculty and staff at his school. It was really hot and humid. We joined him for a little bit and so we could eat! It was fun to meet a lot of the Doctors at his school and in the end he walked away with a nice check for all his efforts!
Ella learned if she reaches far enough she can reach her blanket and Binky in her crib. She hates it when I realize she has gotten them because I take them away. She only gets them at nap time and night time and church! We had a little bit of money we had found left from Christmas and we were at Costco one of the days during break and saw this Sand and Water table. It was the last one they had so it had been marked down a lot! We ended up getting it and I came home looked it up online and the cheapest I could find it for was almost $50 more then what we paid! It was such a good deal! Ella wanted nothing to do with it or the pool we bought at the end of last summer but she eventually warmed up to it and we ended up spending close to three hours outside playing in the water!
