Taylorsville Days

The Last weekend in June we were able to enjoy Taylorsville Days. We usually go at least 2 nights for it but we only felt up to doing the last night. We went over to the park about 8 and sat on blankets and got yummy snow cones! The kids loved it! It wasn't to hot this year. I remember last year it was over 100 degrees when we went so 85 felt wonderful this year! They had a Neil Diamond tribute band that played. They started the fireworks at 10 and they usually go for about 30 minutes! It is one of our favorite summer traditions!

This sweet girl did amazing! I was really worried about her because loud noises aren't her thing. She cries really easily at them, like when I sneeze she tends to cry! I put her pajamas on and my Grandma held her and she went to sleep and slept through the whole show! I was so grateful! She covered her ear and just felt her relax into a deep sleep!

Blurry but he was having so much fun!

5 months!

June 27th Addie turned 5 Months old. She is growing up way to fast and it makes me sad! I just want to bottle up all these moments because we are just loving her! I love this stage. She is just content to be left to play and I have been able to get a lot more done! She sleeps great and has been taking better/longer naps! She loves Ella and will become happy immediately if she is sad and Ella comes to see her! This last month she discovered her toes and loves to put them in her mouth! She loves jumping in her new toy and rolls all over the place! She is so close to sitting up! She really wants to eat everything we are eating but I am waiting until after we move to start solids, she will have waited the longest of all my kids.

I tried to do her photo shoot but she just wasn't having it so I gave her a nap instead!

 Just let me sleep please!
After her nap and lunch we were good to go! She was so much happier the second time around!

She gave me the look of seriously mom I love my toes and you put these huge pants on me and so I can't get to them!

Every picture I took I got a "mom can I get in it with her now question," for seriously 10 minutes and so I let her finally get in one!

I took these ones with my phone!

Ice Cream Cone

Last week we went to my Grandma's and let the kids play in the sprinklers and the water table. My Grandma made us a yummy lunch with her homemade bread. The kids enjoyed going back and forth from playing in the water and playing inside. My grandma bought ice cream and cones and gave the kids huge ice cream cones! Easton was in heaven! He got ice cream all over himself and told me to spray him off, so I got the hose and sprayed him down while he laughed! We had a nice day and it ended with my mom taking my sister to Labor and delivery where she had her baby a short 6 hours later!

Swimming

Last week a friend of ours from Optometry School came and went swimming with us. It was such a nice night and we enjoyed talking. The kids love the pool and we are all having a hard time wanting to leave because we will miss being able to swim when we want!

We got there and Easton said he wanted to lay out and proceeded to lay down, it was hilarious!
Beach Babe!
This was her first time actually getting all the way in, I usually just sit on the edge with our feet in. She loved it! She kicked her legs the whole time we were in the pool and just loved it!

Addie

We love this little girl so much! We are so thankful she is a part of our family! She is just the happiest little thing each morning. She is such a joy to wake up to. We go get her out of her bed and she is all smiles! We all can't get enough of her!

She is currently a huge fan of rolling her way across the room to get to the other side or to something she sees. I have a feeling she will be an early crawler!

Father's Day!

We had a great Father's Day! We are so thankful for the Father's in our lives! We especially are thankful to have Andrew in our lives! He is the best dad and does so much for his kids! They love him so much and are so excited when he comes home! We are thankful for all he does for us. He is a great example. He works so hard to provide for us and has to sacrifice a lot in order to. He currently is working 6 days a week and still makes us his number 1 priority! We really are thankful to him! We got him a new shirt for Father's Day and I got him a new shovel and hoe for our new home! We love him so much!

He was asked to be a part of primary honoring a couple of the dad's in our ward. They put on these awesome disguises and they said a few of their favorites trying to get the kids to guess if it was their dad. My kids were like clueless. The whole thing was really humorous! Andrew looked great with his huge glasses, pig nose, and mustache!

I bummed this turned out blurry!
I absolutely love this picture!
This picture got out of order but these are the three dad's that dressed up. Our bishop on the far left, a new family in our ward in the middle, and Andrew! The kids were singing a song to them it was so cute!

This was before church! While I got ready he read stories and got the kids bathed and dressed!

Silver lake

A month ago our friends Dan and Mandy invited us to go up Big Cottonwood Canyon and walk around Silver Lake with them after church! We usually have plans on Sunday nights but this week we didn't so we were excited to go with them! It was a little bit of a cooler day in the Valley so it was a little chilly up there in the mountains! We had such a nice walk and even ran into a little bit of leftover snow! It was nice to just walk around and the guys followed the kids and Mandy and I lingered behind just talking! I am so thankful to have such great friends as the Moore's! We really love getting together with them. Afterwards they invited to their house and we had a yummy dinner and the kids played outside and we enjoyed chatting some more! We need to take advantage of the mountains more, our kids loved running and enjoyed the outdoors!

Bryn and Easton are just over a month apart and they play so well together!

They wanted to do moose ears! On our way up the canyon we saw a moose running up the side of the ride!
This made me a little nervous he kept getting so close to the edge of the nasty marshy area!
