Saturday April 5th was our final day at Disneyland. We first thing went and saw some princesses. Since we were there 2 years ago they have built a place where they have Cinderella and 2 other surprise princesses inside, I guess it changes every day a couple times you never know who it will be. It is actually a really great idea. We waited in line about 30 minutes and then saw Cinderella, Jasmine, and Mulan. Ella was ecstatic. She loves those last two and they are the only two she hadn't ever met! After the princesses I went with all the guys to Space Mountain. They had waited all week to go and finally we got fast passes for it. I went back after the ride while they went on some more. My mom and sister were in line with all the kids for Tinkerbell. The kids were so excited to see her. We then headed to the big World of Disney store so the kids could pick something out to take home. We had our kids fill a big jar with pom poms by doing chores or being good while out or for listening and we told them if they filled it they could pick whatever they wanted when we were there. They filled it and were so excited to pick something! They each got something they wanted and we got a ornament for our Christmas tree. We then went over and everyone went on Splash Mountain again except me and my sister we stayed with our kids and I fed Addie. We split up at that point and decided to meet up again at 3 at the entrance of Disneyland for a group picture. We went and got some lunch at Gepettos. We went from there to meet up for pictures. After our pictures we went and found a spot for the parade and got some churros and popcorn for a snack. We watched the parade and the kids loved it! Peter Pan came over and talked to Ella and Jocey. After the parade Andrew took the kids back to ride a couple more rides and they got to meet Sleeping Beauty. I waited where we sat during the parade with my parents and we were able to watch the lowering of the flag. After that we decided to head out and go back home to pack up. We had to be out the next morning by 10. It was such a fun trip! We all got along so well for there being 20 of us! We loved being able to see my brother and his family. Ella misses Jocey so much! She hates being stuck with the boys! We can't wait to go back again!
During the lowering of the flag. It was such a cool experience. They had any vets that were there stand around the flag pole and they were honored, it was actually quite a moving experience and something we had no idea they did!
Such a fun week! We certainly missed my little brother!
The best part of this picture is Peter Pan going to give Sarah a high five but he quickly pulled away his hand before she could, it was hilarious.
