Last Saturday the Primary had a fun little Easter party. This nice couple is our ward is always so generous to let us use there property for ward activities. They have a few acres of land and we have a few ward get togethers there every year. It is nice because it is secluded and surrounded by trees! They had lots of fun things to do. There was an egg hunt with different areas for nursery, jr. primary, and senior primary. They also had a nice little potluck picnic, face painting, a old school merry-go-round, a train, bunny races, and a photographer in our ward was nice enough to take family pictures for us. It was a big hit with all the kids.
Waiting for the egg hunt to start the kids went and played in the field with all the balls they had and climbed around the train!
Then the egg hunt started. Easton technically isn't in nursery yet but we let him get some eggs anyways. By this egg hunt they both had become pros and knew exactly what to do. The couple who hosted the party at their house are amazing and boiled AND dyed almost 800 eggs for the kids to find, they are amazing! Each family had also donated some eggs with candy for it as well so there was plenty to go around!
Some of the kids caught on quickly to just picking up the plastic eggs but a lot of the real ones had become smashed. 
Easton quickly became attached to his bucket again and wouldn't let us take it away. 
They probably rode the train at least 10 times in the couple of hours we were there, they loved it!
Ella's new nursery leader Lisa was so nice to take Ella on the train a few times as well. Easton loves Lisa too because each Sunday we end up in the hall during Sunday school and he heads right over to the open door in their nursery and she feeds him snacks! He is beyond ready to go to nursery!
Easton loved being able to wander all over by himself. He ventured over to his friend Soren who was playing with the balls and they were being so cute sharing them and passing them back and forth!

Andrew had volunteered for the bunny sack races and him and the other guy had a great idea to have all the dads race. It was hilarious to watch!
Poor Andrew fell flat on his face. His feet are too big for such things but he was a good sport to play along!
I must not have looked in the mirror before I left home I don't look so great! Also it was 66 degrees in our house that morning so I thought it would be a little chilly plus the weather said it wasn't getting very warm so I dressed accordingly and then was hot the whole time!

We rode the train around three more times before we decided it was time to go home and take naps.
