Library Egg Hunt

Last Friday afternoon we went over to the library for a little Easter egg hunt. They start with the 1 and 2 year old so they don't get trampled. I was surprised how quickly Easton caught on to what was going on. He did stop every few eggs to try and open them and eat what was inside but he loved it! Ella had done a egg hunt at school the day before so she was well aware of what was going on and what to do.
The library is surrounded by a beautiful lake and park and it was the perfect day out!

Easton was so excited he was running as fast as his little legs can take him! Apparently there was a contest to collect the most eggs. We didn't get that memo but we still counted ours and came in second place and Ella won a pink bunny she was so excited and wouldn't let anyone touch it. They had an Easter bunny for the kids but mine weren't having any of it. Ella kept telling us for days after that bunnies are nice, I guess she was trying to make it clear in her head that it really wasn't that bad of an experience!
For the rest of the day if we even tried or dare touch Easton's bucket he would flip out he didn't want anyone touching his candy!

That looks like so much fun! I'm so excited for next year, when Logan will understand it more! Your kiddos are so cute!
