Fun Day

Last week after the Library we went home and had some lunch and then headed out. Andrew had the day off. I needed to head up to the mall to find something that my mom had called and asked me to go find. We decided to walk around the mall for a little while as well. Ella saw the Merry go Round and was jumping up and down so we decided to let her try and go again. The second I got on there with her she freaked out. After a few times around she warmed up to it and started to enjoy it more. By the time we got off she was loving it and ran out to tell Andrew all about it. She kept telling him she got to ride on the giraffe and how fun it was.

After we left the mall we weren't ready to go home so we decided to stop at Shelby Farms. It is a huge park with trails, playgrounds, buffalo, horses, lakes, and so on. They have built a new playground that is really fun. It was a bit crowded but we still had fun. They have these huge slides and Ella went down them a hundred times. Easton went down a few times but wasn't a huge fan, I think they were a little too big for him.
Easton was more interested in the sticks and rocks at the bottom of the slides more than the slides themselves.
Easton loved the swings but he sun was in his eyes and Ella as usual still hates swings, she was literally shaking she hated it!He couldn't open his eyes it was too bright! She decided she liked to swing only if it was on my lap. She gave me quite the workout we swung for a long time!We went down the slides a few more times before we left. I decided to take Easton down the biggest one with me. It was actually quite terrifying I was going really fast and was afraid I was going to knock the girl at the bottom over, luckily she moved just in time!

On our way out we stopped by the stables to pet the horses. Ella was so excited and then they got closer and she got really scared. We stopped at the grocery store on our way out of the park and got some water and a snack and then started for home. It wasn't two minutes and they were both asleep. Ella fought for a good ten minutes to keep her hands up like this while she slept.
It was a great day! We had a lot of fun and wore them out!
