Jacksonville, Florida

Last week Andrew had a chance to go to a seminar in Jacksonville, Florida. Johnson and Johnson and The Vision Care Institute put it on for all the students when they are 3rd years. They pay for them to fly down there, stay a few nights, and eat really expensive food! Andrew went with most of the LDS guys and some of the girls in their class. I am going to try to remember what he told me about it and maybe have him add some insight later. They flew in Sunday afternoon checked into their hotel and then were given $40 dollars each for dinner, a lot for one person if you ask me! All the guys went to Outback together. They ordered a few appetizers, each of them got a steak, and a dessert and drinks. The next day they had meetings and classes in the morning and then they were able to do a tour of the Johnson and Johnson facility there that makes contact lenses. He didn't get any pictures of it because cameras were not allowed not even on the premise. He thought the tour was actually really cool and that was one thing he was looking forward too! Monday night they were all taken to a really fancy restaurant. They all ordered steak again. Andrew said it was really good! We enjoyed our chick-fil-a here at home :) Tuesday they had more classes and lunch and then flew home that night. Andrew came home with an awesome plaque with his name saying he had completed the seminar! We were excited to see him again!

They bused them everywhere!

I'm assuming this is part of Jacksonville :)
Inside Johnson and Johnson, he actually said he could have gotten in trouble if they knew they took this

That is what a $50 dollar steak looks like. Andrew said this place was super fancy, so fancy that you don't get a preference on how you want it cooked they do it their way! He said it was one of the best steaks he has ever had!
