Sunday the 17th we left Nauvoo and headed to St. Louis. My family was going to stay there until Tuesday so we decided to stay with them. We were able to show them some fun things we did while we were there last time!
Monday morning we got up and sent Katy, Spencer, Sarah, and my cousin Ben who had stayed to ride home with them to Six Flags. We were going to go but decided with how hot it was supposed to be and two little ones that it probably would have been a waste. So we got to spend the whole day with my parents! It was nice to have one on one time with them, it never happens! Hopefully they enjoyed the day. We were able to do a few of the free things that St. Louis has to offer.
Our first stop was the zoo. When we went in May the hippos weren't in their pool and they were this time! It was really cool to see them play. This hippo went in a circle over and over again. Ella loved it!
It soon got to hot and so we headed to the History museum. We wanted to go last time we were there but we ran out of time. We walked around some of the exhibits. One we really liked was about the World's Fair that was there in 1904 and about the Louisiana Purchase. It is amazing how much money was spent then for it and how many people attended it!

I hate it when the mom cries! That always breaks my will power.
I love that last pic! So precious! It looks like and sounds like (from talking to you) that you had a blast with family! I'm glad you guys are so close and get to see each other often!
