Birthday girl

November 17th our Ella turned 5! I honestly cannot believe she is 5 years old! The last five years has gone by so fast but thinking about all that has happened and all the places we have been it sounds like it could seem a lot longer! She has been so a joy to have in our family. She is always the peacemaker and is such a great helper! Her red hair can bring out her fiery personality. She has started ignoring people who want to talk about her hair or she scowls at them. I had a talk with her this week about just telling people thank you and trying not to be rude about it, we shall see if it works!

I always have to take one last picture as they sleep the night before their birthday! It is so fun to snuggle with them and give them kisses while they sleep and tell them how much I love them!

We celebrated her birthday with my family the night before. Ella requested Spaghetti so that is what we had! She loves spaghetti! I went to the grocery store the night before her party to get some stuff and by some miracle found someone in the store who knew how to blow up balloons! I didn't think it would be possible to get any since her birthday was a Monday this year but we just got them a day early.

We had dinner and then she opened her presents. She was excited to open them and was sure to ask each person as they walked in our door where her present from them was.

My little brother Spencer and his "friend" Sarah. Easton has a little crush on her, he didn't leave her side all night and even batted his eyelashes at her! She taught us a fun game that night and we played it a few times!

Seriously what is better then a bunch of dollars for a 5 year old?!?
My Grandma went to Israel, Jerusalem, and Bethlehem a couple weeks before this and brought Ella back this little Nativity.

New clothes, a workbook, and a puzzle from Grandma and Grandpa Pond

New Puzzle from Brent, Emily, Jack, and Bennett

We gave her one present that night and saved the rest for her birthday. She got some new clothes and new boots to wear the next day on her birthday!

She wanted a Frozen cake so we found some Frozen Figurines and that was another one of her gifts from us!

Her on the morning of her birthday!
