Arizona Friends

We honestly could have spent two weeks in Arizona just seeing all the people we know who live down there but we only had 3 1/2 days! When we first decided to go down back in September my friend Cara text me about something that day and I text her back telling her we were planning on making a trip down and that I wanted to come see her while we were there. She immediately told us that we were welcome to stay with her. We are so grateful that they opened their home to us. They were the best hosts and made us feel so welcome in their home. Thank you again! We really had such a great time and want to make it a yearly thing ;) We know them from Optometry school and hadn't seen them in over 3 years! Our kids immediately clicked and they played so well together the whole time! They had so much fun together! One day we went to a park and the kids rode a few rides and then played at the playground! We then ate lunch at Joe's farm grill which is a favorite of Andrew's. Kash and Cara made us really yummy meals and Cara cut out some wood the last night we were there and we made a cute craft! It was just so relaxing to be away from life for a few days and was nice to see Andrew for a few days since we normally only have time to spend with him on Sunday! We were able to go to dinner with them Saturday night as well. We went to a delicious Mexican restaurant and then stopped and got a Bahama bucks on our way back to their house! All in all it was a very fun weekend and much needed break from day to day life!

These pictures are all sorts of out of order, that is what you get when you are using three different cameras!
Riding rides at the park!

On the way down we stopped the first night since we didn't leave until after 5. We were going to go to Vegas but they had not a single room available(there were a few just a little out of our price range (over $1000!)) So we stopped in Mesquite for the night! The kids were so excited to be in a hotel, I'm sure our neighbors were thrilled with three kids at 11 at night running around! Surprisingly they all went to sleep really fast!

Ella has her eyes closed in every picture!
On the way home we stopped at the Hoover dam. It was Sunday and the place was packed, it was crazy! We got out for a few minutes and left. We hope to someday go back and see more, maybe when our kids don't run away from us, that place is a little terrifying with a 3 and 4 year old and a baby that wants down and tries to jump out of your arms :)

Riding the train at the park!

This guy he thought he was so funny! He probably gave the kids a lot longer ride than normal but they loved it!

Saying goodbye to our friends!
Our kids loved jumping on their tramp! They now ask daily if we can get one! We need grass first is our usual response, it gets them to stop asking!

I still regret not getting a picture with all of us! It was fun and the kids still ask when Ella and Easton are coming back! I'm totally cool with a yearly visit!
