Last Saturday Night we were able to go out! It was the first time we actually paid a babysitter, we usually just swap with friends. It was actually really nice to come home and my kids were already in bed! Every year Walmart puts on a Riverboat Cruise on the Mississippi to promote working for them as an eye doctor. They had a doctor come that works in a Sam's Club Vision Center and he was rather boring. He kept talking about how much he wanted his own practice while he was in school but when it came down to it he ended up at a Sam's club and has been there for ten years now. He didn't really seem all that happy with the fact that he worked there, he didn't promote them very well. He seemed like he hated it! Anyways it was nice to be able to go out. It had been three months since we went out without our kids.
Our Friends Jenn and Erick! We don't get to see them as much since they live in Memphis. This was in the parking lot which was a huge cobblestone hill down to the river. That is the bridge that crosses over the river into Arkansas in the background and the riverboats.

Waiting to eat our dinner. We were hungry. They had BBQ (what else is there in Memphis?!?). It wasn't the best I had ever had but it was still good. For dessert they had bread pudding with rum sauce. I had no idea that it was rum sauce until I was almost done with mine but it was pretty good! That was as close to alcohol we got on this cruise. There were a lot of disappointed people that it was an alcohol free night since that is what most of them live for :) and that is the reason some of them came for the free alcohol, although some managed to bring there own I could smell it on a few people.

We went out on the deck down below and up above and it was super windy. We had had strong winds all weekend so out on a river made it worse.

Windy!

Bridge in the background.

They had a live band play the last2 hours of the cruise and dancing. We did get a slow dance in as well. We were the only ones that danced, everyone else was boring since they couldn't drink and sat around!

There was a lot of LDS Couples there but these are the ones from our ward. All of us are 3rd years except the couple next to us they are 4th years.

Such a fun night! Thanks for the date! Thanks Walmart for the free dinner and Cruise!

It was fun--nothing like a free date and plus you got a cute new outfit out of it :) It was fun dancing together.
I LOVE date nights! And babysitters at home are the best if only we were more rich :)
Looks fun!! You look great by the way!
