Road Rally!!!

Two Saturdays ago after finals were all over and before we all left town another couple put together a Road Rally/Amazing Race for all of us students. We did something like this a few years ago and it was a lot of fun so we were excited. The couple who put it together watched all the kids at the church while we were gone! It was a lot of fun and took us all over Southaven and then up into Memphis! I realized we hadn't taken any pictures until half way through!

This is outside Andrew's school where one of our clues led us! We hoped we were right because a 20 min drive could have hurt us if we weren't! We were paired with the Butterfields, BreAnne and Bret. She has been my Visiting teacher for the last year since they moved here so I knew her pretty well, it was fun to get to know Bret more, they are both pretty funny! This is the one clue we don't have since we gave part of it back, but it was a body, pea pod, and the letter L on fire. The security guard at the school said something about the Peabody Hotel so it all came together Pea, body, and L.

Another clue led us to the famous Pyramid, which it was pitch black and creepy people were walking around, downtown Memphis in the dark isn't where you want to be!
Our last clue took us to the Zoo where the security guard let us in, which is interesting since other people had been there earlier and it was closed. He told us it was on an animal on the left so that narrowed it down pretty well!

Us on the drive back! I kept having to apologize for our crazy driver! I'm glad our car made it out!

Here are our first four clues that we did around Southaven! Thanks to my awesome sister for putting up with my annoying phone calls and questions for her to search on the Internet! We went to a swimming pool of some people in our ward, then to an open field - which took us way to long!, then to the Watts house, and then to Latimer Park on the Frisbee golf course!

Our last four clues that led us around Memphis from Andrew's School, to the Peabody Hotel, to the Pyramid, to the Zoo, and then back to the church!
