Valentines Date!!!

Last Saturday Andrew and I had an opportunity to go out together alone. He had told me the week before he had something he wanted to go do but wouldn't tell me. We were going to get a babysitter but there was a multi stake winter dance that same night so my nice friend Cara offered to watch our kids for us! Thanks again Cara, I really appreciate it!
Andrew got me these pretty roses and a nice card with tickets to the Memphis Symphony! Oh and chocolates! He also made us waffles that morning for breakfast!
I got him a new watch he really needs for clinic this summer! I haven't taken a picture of it yet, it worked out perfect since it was delivered that morning and Andrew had no idea a package had been delivered even though he was home, ha! Ella and Easton got him a card game since I had it in the cart at Target thinking about weather I wanted to get it or not and I looked down and Ella was chewing on it and had green all over herself so we had to get it!

To start off we went and got dinner. We were in a hurry since we left late and so we stopped and got a burger!

Inside the Cannon Center where the Memphis Symphony performs!

The Memphis Symphony put on a Valentines Pops concert with songs from Broadway Musicals and older romance films. It was a really good performance and very relaxing to sit and not be bothered! Two funny things about the night one being the lady next to me hummed EVERY song and sometimes would move her hands like she was the one directing the songs. Even Andrew could hear her! The other funny thing was we were up really close, on the second row and the couple in front of us had binoculars ON THE FIRST ROW and were looking through them a lot of the time. I don't know what they were looking at but they would look talk to the other one and then the other person would look. So strange!

After we rode the trolley back to our car because it was faster then walking! We had a nice lady (we are pretty sure it was a man!) take our picture!
Thanks Andrew for a great night out! I love you!

how fun! I love the symphony I am going to have to have JJ take me sometime soon. The lady humming and the people with the binoculars crack me up!

I still laugh about those people you sat by - too funny! I'm glad I could help out! Everyone needs date nights every once in awhile - it's good for the soul!
