Baby Easton

Here he is!

Born 12/1/2010 at 12:16 PM CT

He weighed in at 6 lbs 4 oz and 21 in!

His head was 33 1/2 cm

His head is shaped just like Ella's and he has a little bit of her same look but is very different!

He has a little bit of brown hair, he has his dad's long fingers and toes just like Ella!

We are so glad he is here!

New House

We moved into our new house on September 9th! We love having the extra space! It is 3 bedroom, 2 bath and a bonus room above the garage!

Shutterfly is offering 50 free holiday cards for those who write a blog post about them! What a great way to advertise and a great way for us to get our cards done! We love shutterfly at our house! Every year we print a calendar for our fridge with pictures from throughout the year! I have done a few photo books with them and just finished one last night for Ella's birthday with pictures from the whole year! I really love everything I have gotten from them! They have really great customer service as well! Last month I had ordered a small 8x8 book that they had sent me a coupon for for free! Well after ordering it we moved and it was to be delivered to our old address, well they received it back and it was pretty damaged as well. They emailed me and wanted my new address. They printed me another book so I wouldn't have to have the damaged one and shipped it to me at no cost to me! I was impressed! We can't wait to get Ella's book and finish up our Christmas cards once the new baby arrives!!! We can't decide if we want to do a Top ten moments card, a one picture card or one with lots of pictures of all the fun things we did this year! Now if I could just choose which design I like there are so many to choose from! Bookstore Date

Last night we went out and had a lot of fun! I saw this idea on the Dating Divas Website, if you haven't seen it you should they give some pretty awesome ideas that are cheap and fun to do! Anyways we went to Barnes and Noble and did various activities from the ideas we got off their site! It was a lot of fun and it was free!

One of the things to do was to each find a recipe that we would want to make and take a picture of it, now we have to make them for each other! Andrew is going to try ribs since we live in rib country!

I thought this cake looked so good and super easy! I was tempted to buy the cookbook because it had pictures with every recipe!

Before we went to the bookstore we went and got some yummy mexican food! Ella had lots to say, I think she may have annoyed a few people around us!

1 Year Stats!!!

It was fun to celebrate Ella's Birthday! We have presents to open next week and cake and ice cream to be eaten still! I took her into a new doctor for her check-up and shots! She had six shots and they checked her iron! Her iron was perfect and her legs are bruised from the shots. She is weighing in at 18 lbs 11 oz which is actually on the charts this time she is in the 8th percentile!!! She is just over 28 inches tall which is the 25th percentile! I don't know what the head is they didn't tell me!

Here she is eating her birthday dinner! Homemade Mac and Cheese and Green Beans! She loved them both! After dinner we went with Andrew to scouts and then went to Chili's and shared a Molten Chocolate Cake with her! She was in heaven, she has never swallowed food so fast she was hilarious! She was wired after that and didn't get to bed til 10, but I guess it is OK to stay up late on your birthday even when your 1!

Ella's Birthday So Far

Today has been a great day! I will say it's your birthday Happy Birthday and she laughs like she really has any clue what is going on!

We started the day off with packages on our porch from both Grandparents! This is the best picture I could get she is not into me taking her picture today! Luckily our mail comes really early so we had them before our nap and bath!

Her outfit that my mom sent specifically for today so we are glad it came! She still didn't want her picture taken!

Luckily Andrew came home for lunch and Ella woke up from her nap and he worked his charm and was able to get some really cute pictures of her!

We are going to wait to do cake and ice cream until some of my family comes next week! We may go get ice cream or something tonight!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELLA!!!

We cannot believe she is one! It has been such a great year! She is so happy all the time but she does have her moments! Here are a few things about Ella's first year!

She has traveled over 30,000 miles in her first year (1600 of them by the time she was 1 week!)
She has driven from Mississippi to Utah twice and been on an airplane once!
She has been to 20 states!
She isn't on the charts for weight she is to small! She never has been since two months!
She thinks her dad is the best thing ever! She does like mom though if he isn't around!
She has been saying mama and dada for a few months but her favorite word right now is HI!
She loves books she will sit on the floor and look at them for almost an hour, legs crossed and everything!
She has started waving and understanding why she is waving the last few weeks
She has started folding her arms even though it never at the right time!
Her nicknames include Ella Bella, Turkey, silly
She loves her blanket and binky but is limited to them for nap time and bed time only (and church to make it not so bad!)
She licks everything. It is kind of disgusting. We are trying to get her not to do it! She tries to lick my hands when I am washing her hair or when I am putting on her lotion, she is strange!
