Airborne

Last Tuesday we went with some friends to Airborne, a trampoline bounce place! I knew Easton would love it because he goes through life jumping! They had so much fun and let out so much energy! They were both sad when we had to leave, two hours just wasn't long enough for them! (it was plenty long for me!) They went to sleep so fast that night and slept really good! These are kind of blurry they were taken on my phone and the kids were moving!

Ella

I found this pictures on Andrew's phone. Ella is so funny sometimes! She loves dress-ups, trying everything on accessory wise when we are shopping and so on. She is such a girly girl! She keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh daily! She is turning into quite the little girl. She has to be told a lot to not strangle Easton and that is what lands her in timeout most days! She is also a little tattle tale! She tells me everything Easton is doing wrong or has done wrong and is already a great 2nd Mom to him, it drives me crazy! We are working on letting me be the mom!
Her hair can drive me crazy a lot of times! It is so curly, yet so fine! It is hard to get it to stay in without lots of hair products! I need to invest in some good one someday! Her hair has a lot static and did this day sitting on my mom's couch!
This describes her perfectly!

Getting Hurt

Easton had a few days last week in a row that he got hurt some how and got blood everywhere. The first day I was bringing groceries in and could hear him all the way outside crying in pain. I finally got in the door and he had run to his room. He comes running back out with his blanket and blood dripping down the front of him. He had, from what Ella could tell me, had either jumped off our coat tree or somehow fell off (she may have "helped" with that one) of it. He from the looks of it bit through his lip. His lip on the inside was fat for a few days. Poor kid had a hard time eating as well! He as a result got blood all over his shirt.

Lovely fat mouth
....and the other side
It was nice outside that day as well so after we stopped crying and getting cleaned up we went outside to the park, it was fun! I guess I should have changed his shirt it was kind of nasty, oh well!
The next day he slammed his own finger in the door. I didn't hear him and he was crying and managed to paint my bedroom door with his blood. He manged to rip off a few layers of skin and it bled for a good 30 minutes before I got it to finally slow down and stop. The next day after that he somehow while he was down for a nap bit his lip again just above the first bump and it bled everywhere! Hopefully this week we have less blood!

Grandma's House

We always have to take pictures when we go to my Grandma's house, some may be sick of seeing them but I just treasure this time we get to spend with her. Two weeks ago we went again in the morning and my sister and Jack came and my cousin brought her two kids. We had a lot of fun hanging out with her and she always fixes us such yummy lunches! The kids got to watch a show as well and Easton even had a little nap!

My Girl

Last week I went to check on the kids it was about 9:45 and Ella was still awake. So I decided to let her get up and be with me. She laid next to me for a half hour. I loved it. We needed just Ella and Mom time! She was so sweet and went right to bed when I told her to and was asleep within 5 minutes!

Date Night

So for Andrew's birthday I bought him a Groupon a few months ago, I think in December, to Texas De Brazil. They just opened one in Salt Lake at the City Creek Mall. I had been wanting to try it and we never had a chance to while living in Memphis. It was a steal of a deal so I bought it to surprise him for his birthday! It is nice that he has a weekday off (except when Saturday rolls around and he is gone all morning) so that we can do fun stuff. I picked my little sister up from school and she watched our kids at my parents. We headed down and made the session at the Salt Lake Temple at 3. I love going to the Salt Lake Temple because they do live sessions! It was a great session and we both enjoyed it very much. After our session we had reservations for 5:30 at the restaurant. It worked out perfectly. We enjoyed a nice meal and in peace and quiet! There food was really good and we were both stuffed! It was nice to just sit and talk and discuss the future and our goals and plans. We were going to go get dessert on our way home but were to full! We then walked around City Creek and we found the kids some Easter clothes! It was such a great night and just what we needed after a long week! I am grateful that we got to spend time together and go out, we just need to do it more!

Random Pics

These are from like a month ago. We needed to get out one day so we wandered at the mall. We love to try on all sorts of stuff maybe someday we can buy something!

Grocery shopping with cousins! I have a love hate relationship with the car carts, I love them for about 5 minutes until the kids are fighting or strangling each other, I hate how big they are! Ella and Jack got along great together in the car, Easton rode with my sister and it made the shopping trip that much better!

Andrew's Birthday

Last Sunday, the 3rd was Andrew's birthday! It was fun to have him off for the day! We started celebrating on Thursday. I made him his birthday breakfast on Thursday since Sunday we were going to fast. I made him biscuits and gravy. I had never made it and never really was a fan but now I am. They were really good and enough calories for a week :)!  Sunday came and we decided to wait a week to fast since we wouldn't be able to do a full fast so Andrew made breakfast! He is just so awesome! He also bathed the kids and got them ready for church. We went to my parents sacrament meeting and then over to his sister's house. His sister's husband was ordained an Elder that afternoon. It was fun to share his day with him and we are proud of him!

After the ordination we had lunch and then a little birthday party for Andrew! His sister put together a pinata with lots of fun stuff in it for the kids and adults!

He opened his gifts. I gave him a new game and the Les Mis CD.
His cake! I wanted to do this rainbow cake for one of the kids birthdays but didn't because I wanted to make it when people would appreciate it so he got it for his birthday! It actually turned out better than I thought it would and it was really good!

We played a few games of sequence to finish off the afternoon! We played teams and we won the first game and then everybody else was out to get us after that! It was such a fun day!

Easton

This kid, he has so much energy and wears me out every day! He is also the sweetest little boy! He loves to cuddle with me but just for a second and is the best hugger and gives the best kisses! He is so sweet and sensitive! He loves to open and close doors and he always has at least two cars in his hands, even while sleeping! He usually falls asleep before Ella and he throws everything off his bed before doing so. Well I went in one night and Ella told me she puts his covers on after he is asleep and this is the result. She did a pretty good job and she placed Mickey Mouse right next to him. She is so sweet with him (when she isn't trying to strangle him:))
If he didn't always have a car or ball in his hand I would be worried but he just has an older sister and he sees her with glasses and necklaces and so he has to do it to!

The second people try to talk to Easton this is what he does, he covers his eyes and does it over and over again. He still loves hats as well!

Candy Land

Last weekend we had a little BBQ with Andrew's sisters and everyone wanted to play a game. I opted to watch the kids and so I got out Candy Land. I had it in my closet for a while now waiting for the right time to open it. Ella seemed old enough so we got it out. She has loved playing it! We also have a rug size one with huge pieces that I got out that night as well. She prefers the board one over the other one. We play it about 10 times a day and she gets mad when I tell her I have other things I need to do and that we can play it later. Easton thinks he wants to play each time but he just messes the board up and so we just let him have the blue piece to play with! Another thing is she wins everytime, and not by us letting her, she actually wins on her own. She gets so excited and tells me I can win the next time :) oh, and of course she always wants to go first!:)

Playing in the Snow!!

Saturday after Andrew was off we had a quick lunch and then went to my parents to play in the snow. It had snowed all morning so there was some fresh stuff, it wasn't very wet snow though so it was hard to build a snowman. My mom had some girl snow clothes for Ella. Andrew and I have snow pants we bought like 6 years ago we never had used, mine still had the tags on them! The kids had so much fun! I don't know why we haven't done this more this winter. Since the day we got here in December the ground has been covered in snow, so we haven't seen the grass in two months! We really should have done it more because my kids and I are really feeling cooped up! We are used to spending time outside all year long in Memphis, with the exception of a few days! We are ready to spend more time outside again! Easton can see the playground in our neighborhood from his changing table and asks daily if we can go slide!
I told them to get dad and it then backfired on me as the next few pictures show, they all attacked me and knocked me to the ground! It was so much fun and just what we all needed to get all our energy out!

Tent and Tunnel

We got this tent/tunnel thing for free with some Kohls cash from Christmas and got it out the other day. It was Andrew's day off so he had a blast playing in it as well! :) The kids love it and I love that it can be taken down and made small to store again! Ella wanted to pretend to be asleep in these I guess, she actually did have a nap in it later in the day which was so much fun for her she was so excited!

And then Andrew thought he would be the cool guy and crawl through the tunnel and get stuck, it was funny!
