Weekend

We have had a great weekend. Andrew commented on the way home from church how nice it has been, granted any weekend when he ignores his school work is bound to be nice!

Friday afternoon he suggested we go to the zoo. It was really pleasant outside since the tornado driven storm had already passed us in the middle of the night. We were the only ones at the zoo. It was the perfect time to go!

If your dad is a future Eye Doctor sunglasses are a must!

He acted like he was the boss He actually was walking and stopped while I took his picture and continued on when I was done! Andrew's eye are closed once again in a picture!
Easton likes being out of the car seat in the stroller anymore.

Andrew took a picture of both ways to show no one was at the zoo. We stood at the Elephants for close to ten minutes and not a soul walked by! This is way one:
way two:
Friday night my friend Larysa taught us how to crochet. She does really cute headbands and flowers. It was a fun girls night!

Saturday we decided to try the Tunica indoor pool out again. Ella loved swimming last year so we thought she would bounce right back and love it still. WRONG! She hated every second of it. I thought after the countless times we went swimming last summer that she would love it! We stayed almost two hours but she cried most of the time. She didn't even want to get in a floaty.

He was happy just to hang out!

She was a mess! I have never seen her so upset. I guess we just have to keep going and trying until she gets used to it and likes it again.

First Solid Food!!!

About to take his first bite!

Oh this is pretty good stuff! Some how she always end up in the mix!

He loved it!

Ella and Easton

She is in desperate need of a shelf for her books and toys. For the meantime they are set up in her room. I had her books nice and organized and we went in to find her in a pile of them. She was buried! We couldn't get her to come to dinner and she got upset when we grabbed her!

My newest kitchen accessory, he is the cutest one! He helped me make some biscuits for dinner the other night. He loves it up on the table!

If he is on the table like this while we eat he doesn't cry so we can actually eat!

Happy Babies!!!

We have had a fun week of nice spring weather! We have taken a few walks, gone to the park, gone to another park and had a picnic lunch, and just walked around and played outside. Easton is such a good sport we just drag him everywhere we go. Sometimes I have to remind myself Ella is still so young and so that is why she acts like she does at different times! For example today we went to the post office to mail off a scholarship application for Andrew (never again will I go to the post office on April 15th with two babies!! tax day + post office= lots of people) and then we went to another store since I found a gift card from Christmas and felt the need to use it right away, now to my point Ella has decided that she needs to run away from me in parking lots so I figured that out, just get Easton out first. I just have to remember she is only 17 months old and that her new game this week is run the opposite direction of mom! It is hard not to laugh! Most of the time we can get in and out of places fairly easy but today wasn't one of those times, I must look like a circus sometimes!

This is why Easton isn't on the floor very much because Ella feels the need to be on top of him or next to him the whole time. She started taking his toys from him this week as well. I think they are the cutest babies that ever lived but I am their mom so I get to think that!

Once again Ella as close to him as she can! I can't figure out if she is getting more teeth or not but both her hands are constantly in her mouth!
Last Sunday for the first time she actually was interested in holding him so we made it a group effort. This was the first time she didn't push him away immediately

Family Pictures

Last Sunday after conference I really wanted to go and do some pictures of Ella and Easton. I haven't had any done in a while of Ella and none of Easton. Since we won't have money to do them for another month I figured we better get some of Easton before he gets any bigger. We decided we would try a family one as well with Andrew's tripod and this is the best we could get! I think it turned out ok especially since Ella is actually looking and no one was over at the camera telling her to look! By the end Andrew said this is why we pay people to do it for us!

He loves his hands!

My little stud!
This was the last picture we took Ella was done!

She loves to cross her legs I think it is so sweet!

I never get tired of her kisses, I am sure Easton is weary of them but I want to remember how sweet she is with him all the time!

Four Months Old

Last Friday the 1st, Easton turned 4 months old. I remember when Ella turned four months old (cause it was so long ago) and how much she had changed. He has changed so much. His personality is really starting to come out. He LOVES Ella to death and tries to sit up constantly in his bouncer to try and see her. He just grins at her all day which isn't hard considering she loves to be in his face. I am glad he doesn't seem to mind her yet!

He rolled over from his stomach to his back for the first time this last Monday. We almost missed it amidst the tornado warnings and tornado sirens going off. Ella was crying from it all and I was comforting her and noticed he had rolled over, he then rolled back to his stomach! He always chooses to reach milestones at not the best times!

I took him to the doctor today for his check up and he got two shots and an oral immunization. He is now weighing 13 lbs 11 oz and is 24 in long. His head is 15.5 inches, his head will soon be bigger then Ella's! The doctor was impressed how well he holds his head up and stands on his feet. He told us to start him on some solids so we will do that soon! We sure love him here at our house I often wonder what we would do without him he was definitely meant to be here now!

Here are some pictures we took of him last Friday. I am in love with this hat. He will definitely be wearing it a lot, he already has!

I love his legs hanging out of his exersaucer!

Mischievous!!!

While we watched conference on Sunday Ella thought she would take on entertaining Easton. Here she is trying to share her necklace with him.

She loves to get into everything that Easton sits in. Today it was his bouncer. She has gotten in and out of it at least 100 times. Her hair is always crazy, some days I give up trying to get her to keep it in. Some days she doesn't touch it and other days it is the only thing on her mind! She has always had an attachment to this little thing of sunscreen. We have pictures from almost a year ago of her with it. She hasn't put it down since!

She is getting into everything these days and if we leave something on the couch that she wants but knows she shouldn't touch she gets really close to it, gets a huge grin on her face, points to it, and then tries to go for it before we can catch her. She cracks herself up doing it. She sits and sputters things to me all day long. Some things I understand and know she is starting to put sentences together but most of the time I have no clue. I just say really or is that right! I can carry on a conversation with her having no clue what she is trying to tell me!

This day Andrew left some pens on the couch while he was at school. He had let her play with his highlighters a few nights before only to learn she knew how to get the lids off and she drew on our couch (luckily it came out!). Well I didn't know she had gotten hold of this pen and went to her room and she had drawn all over her face and the back of a book. It came off the book thank goodness. Once again crazy hair! Of course I discovered her like this 5 min before we were supposed to be leaving to go somewhere!
