The middle of August we went to the Layton Surf and Swim. It is a fun pool just down the street from us. They turn on waves once an hour or so in the pool, it looks fun. Our ward had a ward party there the week we moved in but it ended up getting cancelled due to lightening so they rescheduled it for the middle of August. The day it was rescheduled it rained literally all day until about 4. It cleared up so we could go! We took a picnic and ate it then these three got in the water. It was a little cool out from the rain so Addie and I opted to sit and watch, plus I got to sit and get to know our Bishop and his wife better and some other people in the ward. Side note: speaking of our Bishop when we lived in Miss. our Bishop was Bishop Westenskow and our new ward here our Bishop is Bishop Westenskow!
