Fangs!!!

Here is our second child, his new name is Fangs, formally known as Easton, East, and Buddy!

Birthday Weekend!!!

Last Friday was my birthday. I usually have a lot of expectations for my birthday but this year was definitely a lot different then it has ever been! Andrew's longest days this summer semester were Fridays which meant he had to be in the clinic all day! It was fine my kids and I had lunch together and they each slept 3 hrs that afternoon! Andrew got some of our friends to watch our kids so I went and dropped them off when he was on his way home! Needless to say his longest day of the entire semester just happened to be my birthday. I was a little annoyed for the first little bit when we got to dinner but I relaxed quickly! We were able to go to Texas Roadhouse! It was really good and was nice to eat in peace!

The next day we went to a free showing of the new Dinosaur Train movie that comes out next week. It was crowded but Ella actually enjoyed it! That night we were able to go to a Redbirds Baseball game with some friends! The weather was really nice and they even had fireworks after!

My friend Heather brought me this yummy treat on my birthday! Thank You Heather it was so good!

Sunday we had our friends the Heiners over for dinner. They moved away today and so I thought it would be easier if she didn't have to cook dinner, I know how it is when you are moving it is hard to get dinner done! Thanks for coming and eating with us!

Andrew made a cake for me on Sunday. I had requested something a little bit different but this one turned out great! Ella helped me blow out the candles!

The Heiner Family

Brittany and I were in the Primary Presidency together for about a year and a half, so we got to know each other quite well! Good luck in Utah and Colorado!

I had a great birthday! Thanks for all the calls, texts, messages, cards, and presents! Andrew surprised me with a sewing machine! I also ordered a new swimsuit for our trip. He also got me a book on sewing and a gift card to JoAnns! I ordered myself some earrings earlier in the week as well! He also put up a dozen paper roses all over the house with different messages on them! He really knows how to make me feel loved!

Ella's Bed

Memorial Weekend we bought Ella a mattress and Andrew started putting a bed together! Some friends of ours made this bed for their daughter and I loved it! It took Andrew longer then it should have (that is the perfectionist in him) but once it was put together it was perfect! She slept on it for two nights then we went to Utah for a month! She has done really well in it and I think she is scared to get out of it. She climbs in and out of it all day but does really well at night and at nap time not getting out. She was a little younger then most to already be in a bed but it was a lot better then I thought it would be. Thanks to the Watts for letting us use their tools since ours are 1600 miles away!

Waiting for the paint to dry!

All ready to go!

She wasn't sure what to think the first night!

She still sleeps all over the place but she luckily has a rail to help her stay on the bed.

I am sure Easton was super happy to be out of the pack and play. He bent the board in it! He actually seemed to have slept better that night.

We love that he finally can have his own bed!

While we were in Utah my mom and Grandma helped me make a quilt for her bed. When I say helped I mean did most of it for me. They put it on and I tied a row and then I went to dinner with some friends. I came back and it was over half done! My Mom bound it for me. It turned out really cute and I finally put it on her bed this week! It is so hot there really isn't a need for it!

She wanted a picture on her bed and with Easton

She always has him in a choke hold - or a hug in her words!

Picnic in the Park

Last Saturday we headed to Collierville to the outdoor mall to see if we could get some hats for each of us! We had made a picnic and so after we typed park in our GPS and this one came up first. It actually was a really nice park and had a nice pavillion! We first ate our lunch and then played for a little bit. It was really nice outside, it was still hot but wasn't nearly as bad as it has been for the last month! It was such a fun day to spend together!

Ella has decided that she loves slides now! She really wanted to go down the big one and she did! She loved it and kept saying her famous "again" after each time down.

At this point Easton just really wanted a nap he had all of a 20 minute nap in the car. We should have given him one earlier but the air conditioning guy was coming to fix our upstairs air since it wasn't working and he came a little later then he had first said! He is our favorite person in the world, or maybe my mom's she got to see him 8 times last November when he came to get our heat to work! At least this time he figured out the problem on the first try so we only had to see him twice!

Toys

We have this little wagon that came with a bunch of beach toys we just got. I love Target clearance! Anyways Easton is just the right size for it. We put him in it and Ella wanted to pull him around! It gave us a good laugh!

Girls Nights

This was from way back before we left! Like May 31st I think? Anyways we have a monthly FHE group and we get together at each others houses and put together a lesson. Usually we just have a little treat at someone's house but this night it was at my house and Cara suggested we go to Gracie Blue, a new frozen yogurt place nearby that is yummy! Plus it was double punch day! So after we put it together we went and got some yogurt! It is really good!

Cara, Luna, Susan, Kate, Me, and Heather

The night after we got back from our long trip my friend Cara had one last goodbye girls night! She moved at the end of that week and we miss her and her family! Thanks Cara for waiting for me to get back to do this! We went and got Sushi and it was really good! I got a roll with Salmon and Avocado, then deep fried. It was good, can't go wrong with fried! I also tried some of their fried rice which I think is some of the best I have ever had, I told Andrew we have to go back! We asked our server to take our picture, she claimed it turned out rather well, I guess cutting off someone (me) makes a picture better!

Clockwise: Larysa, Me, Lisa, Heather, Ashley, Cara, Elise, and Monica!
We made her take another of us outside, except Monica had left!

This was another one of our FHE Groups, but it was Cara's last one so we took a picture. Heather and I went and worked out after!

Swimming

We have some really nice people in our ward that let us use their pool for our Mother's group activities. The kids love it (not one of mine) and the water is luke warm since it is so hot. You don't get out and get cold here! Last week we went swimming and it was fun. Ella doesn't think any part of the day was fun, but hopefully someday she will like it! I put her in her tube and she cried. My friend Heather was nice to carry her around and play with her for a while! Thanks Heather! She then proceeded to sit in the corner of the stairs the rest of the time!

Easton really doesn't care much about anything!

She would rather pick up rocks from the ground then swim!

or spent hours taking her shoes on and off!

At least Easton liked it and was happy! I guess someone always has to be upset!

Ella's Baby

Ella has really liked her baby ever since we got home. She carries it around all day with her and it is now working as a bartering tool. If she eats lunch she gets it for her nap, if she eats her dinner she gets it at bedtime. She carries it on her hip (wonder where she got that one from), kisses it, pushes it around in the stroller, and it has to sit in a chair at breakfast.

One day after her nap we were playing in her room and she sat on her stool and put her baby next to her. She then proceeded to say cheese so I took her picture, then she decided that Elba (Elmo) needed to be on there to so here they all are! She is actully saying cheese here!

Then it turned into peek-a-boo with Easton!
