Addie's Birthday Parties!!

We had two parties for Addie one with my family and then later in the week with Andrew's family. The night of her birthday Andrew had to work until 6:30ish well he didn't leave until 7:30!! I had just planned on some light snacks and cake and ice cream since it was going to be later. My awesome visiting teacher showed up at 6 and washed all my dishes and cleaned up my kitchen and helped my kids decorate and helped me with some other stuff! She is amazing and I am so thankful to her! Andrew finally made it and we got around to partying! We had her open presents! She was in heaven! I had a Minnie Mouse theme for her! She was in love!

So the day before her birthday I was wandering targets back aisles and found this cute Minnie Mouse blanket and it was 70% off, so I got it for under four bucks! She absolutely loves it!

I found these cute frozen toys and they have been a big hit too! She also got a quilt from my mom, some money, a cash register, a singing minnie, a Minnie memory game, and we gave her a cozy coupe shopping cart! 

I tried to do a Minnie mouse cake but my frosting went funky! It was like melting, I think the butter may have been to soft! So it was just running off and by the time we went to sing it looked horrid!

For her party with Andrew's family we went to Goodwood BBQ with two of his sisters and their spouses. We had a great night and yummy food! Addie was spoiled once again and got a Minnie purse with accesories, a little kitchen, and an Olaf! She was in heaven! It was a great night!

Addie's Birthday!!

Our sweet Addie Girl turned two on January 27th. She is kind of a little pill that day. I tried four times to get a cute picture of her and she was not having it! She must be two!! I honestly cannot believe she is two. I feel like she was just born and yet feel like she has been with us forever! She is the sweetest thing. At two she is fiesty! She loves Minnie Mouse, owls, birdies, books, shoes, candy, oranges, milk, and waving to dad as he leaves for work. She still absolutely hates getting dressed, she screams at the top of her lungs when someone tries to take something from her, she is a little chatter box! She says thank you for everything which is so sweet, she will also say I love you too when you tell her you love her. She loves to sing songs she has done in Nursery. She has a new trick that if she doesn't get her way or gets mad she kicks her shoes off and they have been known to fly and hit me while I am driving. She is very spoiled and she knows it and knows how to work it! We have kind of made her that way :)!! She loves her muslin blankets but has a special attachment to the one with birdies, she usually has it wrapped around herself while she sleeps and always has one corner of it in the palm of her hand! She has lots of Grandma's at church. They all used to fight over who got her during church but since she goes to nursery now they can't! She has a couple of them wrapped around her finger. Our neighbor Lisa has Addie to believe that she can't go to nursery until she gets her M&M's, they truly love each other! I love this girl so much and can't imagine life without her! I can't believe she is 2 and she is turning into quite the little girl and I love her!!

She loves birthdays! She still thinks it is her birthday two months later!! She knew just what to do with those presents!!

FLU!!

The second to last week of January my kids came down with the flu. Addie started it and Ella ended up with it. Easton never did get it thankfully! It was a rough few days for all of us around here! It was a long day and they literally watched TV all day but they all felt better later on. Addie even had three naps that day!

Day with Grandma Duzett

Martin Luther Weekend Ella ended up having Tuesday off that week too. We decided to plan a day to spend at my Grandma Duzett's house. January is a hard month for my Grandma so we always try to see her and spend more time with her. We told her we wanted to come and she was so excited. She plans meals for us and never lets us leave hungry and with a meal to go! Ella loves to help her make bread. I hope I can someday make her bread and make it taste exactly the same ;). We had such a nice day and went home with a warm loaf of bread!

Addie slept on one of her guest beds and did awesome! She went right to sleep and stayed in the bed!

We wandered into an optometrists office while at the mall one Saturday because Andrew has to look at every ones office design ;) Ella and Easton just had to try some on!

YW New Beginnings

We have some of the best young women! I love working with them and they amaze me with their talents! For our new beginnings we did Hunger Games theme but tied personal progress into it. Our cute Laurel Class president wrote an entire script for it. Each value was a district. It was so fun to watch!

This cute Mia maid of mine got her medallion that night and they always have the Dad's talk about the daughters. Well sweet Mikayla is the youngest and has 4 older brothers. Each of her brothers came and they each walked in one at a time with a rose and then each of them took a turn telling her what they loved about her and each took a value from the 8 YW values and said something about her from that value. It was the sweetest thing, not a dry eye in the room! Her cousin is also in our ward so he did it too! Seriously the nicest brothers! 

Lucy's Baby Blessing

My little sister Katy and her husband Kyle blessed little Lucy the first Sunday in January while my brother and his family were still in town! It was such a special day and we all just adore that Lucy!

All my parents Grandchildren! There are now 10 - 5 boys and 5 girls and all 7 and under! Also two little angels 1 boy and 1 girl in heaven! It is amazing we aren't all crazy!! It is pretty chaotic when they are all together!!

Girl's Day

We had a girls day out on January 2nd with my mom, sisters, sister in law Celyn, and Jocey and Ella. Andrew had to work so my dad was nice enough to take Easton and Addie for me, he even changed Addie's nasty diapers! We spent the morning shopping we did Nordstrom Rack, Gordmans, Marshalls, and Home Goods! My mom had given all of us Home Goods gift cards for Christmas so it was fun to spend them! We had a few other stores we were going to go to but we ran out of time! We then went to Costa Vida for lunch! It was such a fun day and I am so thankful I could spend the day with them!

Sarah and I found these awesome masks! So creepy!

Temple Square

We waited until after my brother got into town to see the lights downtown. We had already been down just for a wedding on temple square before Christmas but there were a million people. We went on New Years Day and it was perfect there was nobody! It was freezing cold, below 10 degrees but we still had a good time! Afterwards my parents treated us to our traditional dinner at Spaghetti Factory! It was such a fun night!!

The Candy windows at Macy's are always a favorite, they are so amazing!

Seriously we had so many layers on! I was wearing like 3 shirts and a hoodie! I was glad I had the hoodie for an extra hood!
