BYU Ole Miss Game

We had an opportunity a couple weeks ago to go down to the BYU game in Oxford at Ole Miss. We have been wanting to go down and possibly go to a game. We actually weren't planning on going until that morning when someone called and offered us some tickets. We decided we really wanted to go so we packed a picnic and got ready and we were out the door within the hour! We decided it is ok to be BYU fans even though we are Utah Alumni.

After driving around for a long time trying to find a place to park we found a lot that would shuttle you in. We decided to do it an then got on a Trolley and headed in!

Why do people stand in your pictures? He clearly knew he was going to be in it, Thanks! We were standing across from the Grove!

So I guess Ole Miss is the #3 school when it comes to tailgating parties. I have never in my life seen anything like this scene, it was crazy! The best part was while driving around trying to find a place to park we ended up driving through part of this madness. I am glad we made it out before it got this crazy!

We decided to walk across the front of the field on the way to our seats. It was cool to see close up! The not so cool part was the millions of steps we had to climb to get to our seats.

We were so hot!

They have some crazy fans down there! They said attendance for the game was 55,000 that day!

So I text my mom and told her we were going to go to the game that morning. She told me to watch for my cousin Joseph, so a needle in a haystack basically! He lives with his Dad in Atlanta and they were coming up for the game. Well I turn around to and there he is two rows behind us surrounded by half my ward! I honestly did not think I would see him at all I mean 55,000 people is a lot to find one person! It was good to see him and he gave me a big hug and then another one for his mom before we left! It was nice to see some family since we go so long without seeing anyone!

I like the second picture of us better but I had to put this one is because I am pretty sure the guy behind us on the right posed for the picture for us!

It is funny Ella remembered playing with him at my grandma's this summer and swimming with him as well. Once she spotted him she spent half the game watching him.

The game was actually starting to drag on and BYU wasn't doing well at all so we got bored. Easton loved wearing his dad's hat!

The 4th quarter of the game was the best part! Made the hour drive so much more worth it! Getting out of town was a nightmare but we definitely enjoyed our day!

Sprinkler Park!!!

Every week or so we would go with our Mother's Group to a sprinkler park up in Memphis. We went countless times and Ella hated it every time. We would still go because I was determined for her to get used to it. Well it finally payed off and the last time we all went she decided she liked it! I had to pull her away screaming she didn't want to leave! We decided to take Andrew back a few days later and she loved it again! I am so glad she warmed up to it. Baby steps! Hopefully when it turns back on next spring she will like it still!

Carousel

A couple Saturdays ago we went up to the mall to get Andrew's watch adjusted somewhere. The watch he got for Valentine's Day, he finally got around to getting it done! Now he loves to wear it! We decided to let Ella try the Carousel that they have there. She was so excited to go and then when it came down to it she hated it! She was holding onto me so tight. We will have to try again someday! She did have moments where she was ok with it and would look around at all the animals and name them and then she would realize where she was and get upset all over again!

I love this one, she is pointing at Andrew and wondering why he is making her go through this!

Leftover Florida Pictures

My friend Kate just emailed me some pictures from our trip. They are all random times throughout the week!

Easton is easier to take care of in a high chair!

After all the kids were in bed, we played Cranium. It was a fun game but started to get long!

Ashley and I made a Salad, Grilled Chicken, and Texas Toast one night for dinner! It was really good!

The kids seemed to have liked it! I love this picture the table was huge and held a lot of people but some people still had to sit on the ground!

Nine Months In, Nine Months Out!!!

Our little East is Nine Months old. So cliche' but time is going by so fast! We can't imagine our lives without him! I could spend all day squeezing him and kissing him. He is so cuddly! He is always quick to lay his head down on my shoulder! He is such a sweetheart. He has such a tender little heart at his young age. Last week I took him for his check-up. He weighed (since I am sure he is grown in the last week) 18 lbs and 14 oz and was 27 in. He is already bigger than Ella was at her One year check up! He got one shot as well which I wasn't expecting! He got a new tooth this week as well so he has his top four teeth and two on the bottom! I wish time would stand still for a while so he could stay like this for a while. This stage he is at is so fun and he is so easy to please! We love you East!

He is into screaming lately. He screams his way through the grocery store while Ella tells everybody hi and shows them her shoes! Life is never dull at the grocery store!

Found this toy at Goodwill. Practically new for 2 bucks! Easton loves it and has learned how to bang on it! He is always so proud of himself when he does and it makes a noise. Another thing we have is the Little People Zoo. There is a part that when you pull on it is roars like a Lion and then when you pull it down again it plays a song. He

gets excited when it plays! He laughs at it! He knows right where it is and what to do with it when he sees it, it is amazing what kids soak up and remember at such young ages! Getting Ready to go to the Sprinkler Park!

I took these next few pictures to show our families how much his hair has grown in the last two months since we have seen any of them! It is way long! Ella was saying Hi to her grandma's in this picture!

Long!

Like Father, Like Daughter!!!

Ella loves Elmo. Not just a little but to the point that she constantly walks around wondering where "Elba" is. Lucky for us Netflix has is so if we need it that we can instantly have it! It is nice so I can get things done or shower while she watches it! We found her watching it like this the other day. She was so fixed on the TV, she is just like Andrew nothing can break either of them when the TV is on! I am surprised she didn't fall asleep she hadn't had a nap this day!
