We had such a great Memorial Day this year. It was nice to be back in Utah to spend a holiday with our families. Our day was jam packed and a lot of fun! We started off the morning with breakfast with Andrew's family. We had yummy buttermilk pancakes, eggs, bacon, juice, hash browns, and donuts. The kids had a lot of fun playing with their cousins and their nice aunts brought them all sorts of fun things to play with! Ella and Easton both loved the bubbles the best!
Easton and Grandma Brown
Easton tried to "play" croquet with Colin and Megan but his idea was to go and steal their balls and mallets and walk away!
Early in the afternoon we headed to the cemetery where all of my grandparents are buried. They just set my Grandpa's stone on his grave the week before so we were excited to see it. It looked great!
We even talked my Grandma Duzett into getting a picture with us!
My family minus my brother and his family.
We then went and saw my Grandpa and Grandma Pond's graves. My Grandpa died before I was born and so every Memorial Day for as long as I can remember we have gone to the cemetery to see his grave. My Grandma died when I was a senior in High School. It is nice to have a day to remember those loved ones who have gone before us and to celebrate their lives and sacrifices!
After we left the cemetery we went to my Grandma Duzetts for a BBQ. It was such a nice day and we were happy since it was warm (it had been in the low 60's all weekend!) The kids enjoyed being pushed around the grass in the car!
Spencer is really good at taking Ella out of her comfort zone.
The food!
My Grandma takes such good care of all of us and especially the little great grand kids! She found them their own table and chairs.
My little cousin Olivia had these girls attention all night long! They love to follow her around and she is so darling with them. They were playing telephone in this picture. It was hilarious to watch because a 4 yr old and 2 1/2 yr old don't really get that game yet!
Easton and Caleb were having fun playing peek a boo!
Somebody taught Easton chew and show, not to excited about that one!
