Pre Move

I found these pictures on my phone from before we moved. The kids did really well while I packed around them. They got into the wings and other dress ups while I packed up their toys one afternoon. Ella was being so funny and poor Easton follows suit and wants wings on to poor kid just does a lot of girly things!
Then she found her beach hat I unearthed and a phone and proceeded to "call" all of our families in Utah to tell them she was coming!
He got mad later when I tried to get them off he didn't want to give them up for anything!

After picking Ella up from her last day of Thursday School we decided to stay and swing with our friends! Easton loved it!
On Ella's last day of Thursday school Easton and I spent the whole time running from store to store trying to get all of our errands ran. He was being so funny with me and giving me all sorts of faces!
This is his face he makes all the time. He used to do it more but has not as much. Sometimes I quickly learned it was his way of saying yes to me.
He also loves to make an "O" with his mouth!
We had a good time together and I think it was much needed for both of us since we had been home and packing so much. He needed my attention for a few hours and it made him happier and me happier!

Happy Mother's Day

Mother's Day was such a great day this year. I am so thankful to be a Mom and am thankful to be Ella and Easton's Mom. They bring so much joy to my life. Being a Mom is a lot of hard work and a lot of tough days but it is so worth it in the end when they give me hugs and kisses and tell me they love me. They have their moments of being grumpy and being naughty but the good moments far outweigh the bad!
Mother's Day was so wonderful this year as we got to spend time during the day with my mom and with Andrew's mom. This was my first Mother's Day as a mom spent in Utah with family. We were able to go to church with my mom and then go and spend the afternoon with Andrew's Mom. That night we went to my aunt and uncle's house for dinner. It was a nice night but a little cool. I had such a good day and was spoiled. Andrew does so much for me and took good care of me. It was nice to not change a single diaper! I am thankful to be a mom and am thankful to have such a wonderful Mom and Mother-in-law.
I got them to sit for 3 seconds for a picture with me!
My cousin Andrea's little girl Hannah and Ella have quickly become friends and love to follow each other around and make funny comments!

I don't know what my kids are going to do when Spencer leaves on his mission in a few months they love him!

My cousin Olivia loves having the two little girls to play with. She is so cute with them and does anything they ask.

Easton loves to swing!
Ella and Spencer enjoying their dessert together. They were having quite the conversation! She was so excited to eat with Spencer. Thanks Spenc for putting up with her she just loves you!

Tool Belt and Hat

Grandma and Grandpa Brown came home from some garage sales with some fun things for the kids. They found this cute tool belt with all the tools and the hard hat. Easton loves the tools and he looks pretty cute with it all on!

Let's Go Fly a Kite

During Andrew's break we bought a kite and the next day went to fly it. It was windy, perfect for flying a kite. We went and got some food for a picnic at the store and decided it was too windy and a little chilly to eat it so we flew our kite and saved our picnic for when we went back home. The kids loved it, although Ella wasn't to sure in the beginning.

I love the green green grass! One thing we missed about being in Mississippi was the grass is awful there and some has bugs!

A big field is perfect for Easton to run free!

They each got a turn to try it!

He kept getting right in my face and in the lens! I just love this little boy he brings a smile to my face!

He didn't want any help! He kept trying to run away and laughing his little head off!

After we played on the playground for a few minutes and then went home!

Snack Time

Ella and Easton as starting to take snack time very seriously, maybe because they think it is better than the next meal is going to be. I used to get away with not giving snacks very often but Easton literally wants to eat every hour. I typically each breakfast after them and he always is trying to get to my food and eat some and gets so upset when you don't share with him. He did it to me this morning and before that ate half of Grandma Brown's breakfast after I had given him a bowl of oatmeal and a cup of yogurt. So if he comes up to you while you are eating be prepared to give him some or he gets mad!
I love this one of Ella and Easton is showing his true Easton side!

Another time from last week while Grandma cut up an apple for herself the kids gladly took some when she offered! They conveniently placed themselves on the tile so they could still see the TV and eat!

Sleeping

Easton has been so tired lately. He has been waking up earlier then he ever has. He almost needs two naps a day again. Most days when we go somewhere in the morning he will fall asleep in the car within two minutes. I know he is slowly getting the rest of his teeth so hopefully when he gets done with that he will be more awake! After church a couple weeks ago he was so tired he fell asleep before getting two bites down!
