Fire Museum

Last week we had the opportunity to go downtown with some friends to the Fire Museum! They have firetrucks and an ambulance for the kids to play in. They also have a bucket like on a ladder truck that you can get in and it will raise and lower. I thought Ella was going to enjoy it more but she cried or was clingy most of the time! I think some of the siren noises weren't her favorite!
Here she is in the baby carrier on the ambulance!
The Old Firehouse bell from the early 1900's (it has a pretty cool story behind it!)

They have fire hats for the kids to wear

An old firetruck

She was beyond thrilled to be sitting in there!

She did like pushing the buttons in this truck!

Meltdown...again

They also have a lot of old toys firetrucks and a train that Ella enjoyed!

All the moms!

Two Months!!!

On the First Easton turned two months old! I can't believe how much he has changed! He is such a good little baby. He loves to have your full attention and to be held! He loves to eat as well! We will go to the doctor next week for his shots and to see how much he weighs! I am guessing about 10 lbs! He loves to smile and this morning we heard a faint laugh!
I love babies in jeans!

Trying to get his two month pictures and Ella had to join in! Notice her necklaces like I mentioned in the last post!

She can't go five seconds without kissing him! He looks thrilled about it as well!

We were trying to get her to hold him for a picture which didn't work so I put him back and his pants slid off!

Love this Girl!!

I just love little Ella! She is developing quite the cute personality! She loves all things girl, like jewelery, make-up, and dolls. She will sit on my bed and take all the make-up out of my bag and put it back about 100 times while I get ready! She loves books and we read many each day. I think we read Dr. Seuss's "Hand Hand Finger Thumb" at least 20 times the other day, it is her current favorite!
Last night we went to some friends and had dinner and played games, they had this cute little roller coaster and despite the look on her face she loved it!
Here she is displaying her love of jewelery! She loves to put on and play with my necklaces and bracelets so while at Target the other day we found these play necklaces for her and she loves them. It is the first thing she finds in the morning and puts them right on and then keeps them on all day. This day the orange one was stuck on her ear for a good thirty minutes. She will take them on and off over and over again!

She was eating lunch the other day and wanted down but I wasn't done putting dinner together to put in the oven so I bribed her with her first Oreo! She loved it, no surprise since those are a favorite of Andrew's! I had to take her picture to document it for him!

I love her facial expressions!

I was dancing and singing around the kitchen to some music we had going and she thought it was pretty funny! I am sure it was pretty funny watching me trying to dance!

Here she is reading her books. She takes one looks through it and tosses it into the pile. We end up with a huge mess a few times a day. We need to buy something to keep them on as well as her toys.

Doughnuts!

One Sunday a month we get together with the other students in our same year and do a FHE/Dinner group. Every month we are in charge of something different and we have to make something we have never made before. This month Andrew and I were in charge of roll or pastry. We decided to go the pastry side of things and made doughnuts! They were really easy to do and turned out really good! They actually didn't look to bad either!
Andrew helped a lot and rolled them out and fried them, then I glazed them!

Shelby Farms!!

Last Saturday the weather was even nicer then it was Friday! I saw a sign that said it was 69 degrees! We didn't want to spend the day inside so we thought we would go to Shelby Farms in Memphis! Well about a million other people had the same idea, it was insane! Shelby Farms is a big area with lakes, trails, playgrounds, and so on. We finally found a place to park and walked around and enjoyed the nice temperatures!
She gives the best hugs and kisses!

A lady walked by and offered to take our picture because we had a red head! She had her four kids with her and all were red heads, I think we made her day!

Zoo

Last Friday the weather was so nice (mid-sixties!) and some friends of ours invited us to go to the zoo with them! The animals were all very active and Ella is starting to notice and acknowledge them more!
We were standing in front of the gorillas here, he was right up at the window!
The giraffes were right up at the fence as well!

Here is some of the group Larysa, Kaleigh, Alden, Natasha, Me, Ella, Ashley, Kaitlyn, Jaxon, Heather, and Garrett running away! Easton is somewhere in there in the stroller!

Here is the rest of the group! Natasha, Alden, Amy, Caleb, Heather, Garrett, Me and Easton, Ella, Cara, and Hudson!
We were all so excited to get out of the house, we have cabin fever!

Bath Time

This is what happens when Dad is in charge of baths for the day! Now everytime we are in the bath she wants them on!

Ella Walking

Ella has started walking a lot more but she can still be a little stubborn. She walks more now then she crawls but she will crawl if she needs to get somewhere "fast" like the refrigerator if it is open, it is her favorite thing in the world!

Smiles

The last few weeks Easton has really started to smile! It is so fun to see and nice to know he really is a happy baby! He smiles when Ella talks to him, which is usually when she is inches away from his face or trying to kiss him. If he is up and awake she loves to be in his face!

Tea Party

I was making dinner the other night and looked in the other room and this is what I saw. Ella was attempting to pour tea for Andrew. So cute!
