So on October 5th we celebrated our 2nd anniversary. It has gone so fast. So for our anniversary we decided to just go stay in a condo for a few days in Park City so Andrew helped me book the room and we were all set. Well little did I know what he had up his sleeve. I was at work one day and a package came from Get Away Today and inside was hotel and ticket vouchers for Disneyland. I was so excited! So we left on Friday the 5th and drove to Vegas and ate at the Cheesecake Factory, which is so good. Everyone must try the raspberry and white chocolate truffle one it is so good. That night we stayed in Primm, Nevada, on the border of California and Nevada. It was cheap but too cheap it was supposed to be non-smoking and it wasn't it was nasty we slept without the top blanket. Don't ever stay there its not worth it. The next morning we were able to get conference through the radio and we went shopping at the outlets there, that is the only good thing about that place. That night we got to our hotel and left immediately to see my friend Bobbi and her husband and went to dinner with them in San Diego. Andrew also got to see the San Diego temple for the first time it was fun.
The next day we just hung out and played games cause it was Sunday. On Monday we were able to go to Disneyland it was so crowded and it was Gay Days, it was so nasty they were everywhere. Disneyland and California Adventure were all decorated for Halloween and it was cool the California letters were changed and the A's they made into candy corns. We also got to eat at the Blue Bayou, if anyone ever goes to Disneyland it is a must to eat there. The monte cristo sandwich is to die for. A couple got engaged while we were at lunch, they had there family riding the pirates of the Carribean ride hold up signs saying will you marry me and he got down on one knee. It was so cute. Anyways, Tuesday we went to Disneyland again for a while in the morning and then we left and went and changed to go to the beach. We decided once we got to the beach that we didn't want to swim so we left and went to Balboa Island and got a frozen banana. Then we decided to go back to Disneyland and spent the rest of the day there. Wednesday we left and drove all the way home in one day, it didn't seem like that long of a drive on the way back which was nice. I love road trips and we had so much fun. I love my husband so much, he is always full of surprises that I would never expect. He is the greatest in the world!
Here are some pictures from our trip:
