Zoo Lights

We did the Zoo lights at Christmas this year twice! The first night with our friends the Moore's and the second night with my sister and her family. We have a pass so the second night we went for free! The kids loved going to the Zoo in the dark! It has a whole different feel then!
The Moore's. We met them for dinner before at Corner Bakery!

Addie had to have her picture with the Giraffe!

Progressive Dinner

We love our tradition with my family of a progressive dinner around Christmas! This year we started with Appetizers at our house, followed by Salad at my sister Emily's. Then we went to my parents house for the main dish. We then went to Katy and Kyle's for dessert and finished at my little brother Spencer's for a spiritual thought and homemade egg nog! It is a lot of good food and such a fun night driving around seeing everyone's houses decorated for Christmas!

Trying to get One good picture

My mom wanted a picture of my kids in front of our tree to put on her Christmas cards. My kids were being terrible this day and we honestly could not get a good one at all!

Girls Night

If you would have told me I would have these awesome friends last Christmas I would have laughed! I have gotten to know these three ladies this last year and they have become some of my dearest friends! We knew we were long overdue for a girls night so we planned one for Christmas! We wanted to do some sort of Christmas gift exchange so we decided to do a Favorite things gift exchange. I spent 15 dollars on a few of my favorite things and bought a gift wrapped one for each of them and they each did it too! It was so fun to open each other's gifts! We had dinner at Twigs and chatted the night away! It was so fun and just what we all needed to relax in the hustle and bustle of Christmas! I gave them each some white cheese popcorn, snapple apple, a Roxberry gift card, and a pair of fuzzy socks! Lindsay gave each of us a sweater, Tami gave us each a Biolage shampoo and conditioner set, and Jamie gave us a Burts Bees set and fuzzy socks! It was such a fun night! We ended it with shopping for a few minutes because the mall closed at 9!

Black Eye

I got a call one morning from the kids school telling me Easton had gotten hurt. He had accidentally gotten hit and it immediately swelled up! Luckily it was only about 45 minutes until school was getting out so I went and got him after and they had given him some ice! He tried to milk it for all it is worth! I needed to go to the mall to pick up some Christmas PJ's and so I asked him if he wanted something. He replied with a pretzel, some lemonade and a hot dog on a stick! I got him some lemonade and a pretzel. He then wanted to get ice cream at a place by our house on the way home but I drew the line there and said no!
It's amazing how it changed from day to day!

First Haircut

The first part of December I took Addie to my good friend Ann for a haircut! She hadn't had one yet and it was time. Her hair was all sorts of lengths! It turned out so cute!

Christmas Tree Shopping

We decided to find a local lot this year to buy our tree! We went to one close to our house and the trees were from Kalispell Montana where Andrew was raised! We went and it was lightly snowing and we found the perfect tree!

Christmas Village

The first weekend in December we went with the Munfords and Hansens to the Ogden Christmas Village. It was our first time and we hope to make it a tradition. The kids loved seeing all the different set ups. They got to ride a little train and we finished the night with Cafe Rio!

Our group of kids! There are 8 girls and 2 boys!

Visiting Santa

This year we visited Santa at our ward party! It worked out for me! I had such bad sciatic pain it was hard to do much walking or standing for very long! Easton was so cute and took his Lego magazine to show exactly which lego set he wanted!

I'm not sure how these pictures ended up here but these are a couple white elephant gifts that I bought for a couple different parties! One was our relief society and it was a huge hit! It is so hilarious!

Easton's Birthday

Easton turned 6 on December 1st! We love this boy to pieces and are so grateful for him!
Always making goofy faces!
This year I let Easton have a friend birthday party! With being 20 weeks pregnant and still a little sick and it being December and Cold I opted for a party at Classic Fun center! It was the best idea ever! I got a black Friday deal on a punch pass and it made it cheaper than anything I could have put together myself! It was great to not have the mess at my house!! His birthday fell on a Thursday so we were able to do it at 1 in the afternoon and Andrew had the day off and we checked Ella out of school early!
It was nice to have it mid day because there wasn't anyone there! They let the kids bring scooters for the skating rink!

Each kid got a handful of tokens to use in the arcade as well and earn tickets to get a prize!

Easton was so excited for presents!
All the friends! I limited how many friends he could have more just people we knew. I am not a fan of most the boys in his school class!

I opted for Donuts instead of cake! Easton got a Texas sized one!

That night we had a family party with Beef enchiladas! We opened presents and Easton is so good at thanking every one and just lights up with each one!

We are in the thick of Legos at our house right now! They all love them!

We skipped cake and did brownies with peppermint ice cream and homemade hot fudge! Easton has already told me he wants that again next year!
