These kids

Easton has been really great since Addie was born. He really hasn't shown any jealousy towards her and tells me all the time he loves our baby. He really is so sweet with her! Ella seems to have had a harder time and has gotten pretty grouchy with me lately but still is just as sweet with her. They sometimes have a hard time with how much I have to do to take care of her but have done pretty awesome!

One night during dinner Easton was not eating so we told him he could have the whole bowl of pineapple (after the rest of us had what we wanted) if he ate all his other food. He got right to work and ate everything so we just handed the bowl over to him. He went to town but after eating about half of the bowl he decided he was so full and said he was done! This kid loves fruit and will eat it first thing so we usually have him eat everything else first otherwise he won't eat anything else! He gladly finished the rest the next day! None of us wanted anymore after he was eating out of the bowl and dripping juice in it!

Ella can't let Easton just get his picture taken she has to as well!

Can't Get Enough

None of us can get enough of this girl around here! She has stolen each one of our hearts!

Just a bunch of pictures

These are from our phones from the first few weeks!
Loved these jammies sadly she grew out of them in 2 weeks!

Cute outfit thanks to aunt Becky!
Waiting for Dad to come home and someone was bringing us dinner and he crashed! I tried for over 10 minutes to get him to wake up and he wouldn't, he was so tired!

Thanks to aunt Katy for the cute shirt! Luckily she was able to wear it until this last week before it was to small!
Morning snuggles!

Valentine's Day

This Valentine's Day was pretty low key this year! Andrew had the day off which was great! We had a pretty relaxed day! We left this awesome trail of candy for the kids when they got up which led to a little toy. We also heart attacked their door! Well we woke up to the candy gone and wrappers everywhere! Those two are really good at getting up and being quiet which is great some days but this day probably not! They thought it was awesome! We enjoyed spending the day as a family. I got Andrew his pictures that day I had printed and gave him a box of Harry and David Pears. He had gotten some as a gift from work for Christmas and loved them so I thought it would be a great Valentine's treat! We enjoyed them all the next week! He got me some beautiful roses which we so nice to have in the house and a gift certificate for an hour massage and hour pedicure that I am going to enjoy next week! We put our kids to bed early and got take out from Brio. It was nice to sit and eat and talk! Addie slept in her seat close to us! It was such a great day to reflect on those we love and spend time together. We ended the night with yummy chocolate covered strawberries from our downstairs neighbors and a movie which I lasted a whole hour before I fell asleep, ahhh the life with a newborn!

Week 3

Apparently I stopped taking pictures this week! I forgot to note we took her in at two weeks for her check-up. She weighed 7 lbs 10 oz and was 20 1/2 in. So she gained 7 oz and one inch! I have never had a baby above birth weight at 2 weeks! It took Ella almost a month to get back to her birth weight! I was pretty proud of myself for this chunk and she hasn't slowed down since she just keeps growing!

Ella Love

Ella is so in love with Addie. She loves to hold her, kiss her, wake her up (drives me crazy!), and just be around her if she is near by. She is such a sweet sister and always runs to give her her blanket, which is big for Ella she has a minor obsession with that thing! I think these were from the first few days we were home and the obsession hasn't stopped!
She holds her pretty well but she is starting to not want to hold her very long anymore because she is getting to heavy, as Ella says! These are their matching owl outfits as well, sadly Addie's didn't fit after about 3 weeks :(!

Newborn Pictures

I have never had professional newborn pictures taken. While pregnant I really wanted to and then once she was born I kind of changed my mind. I didn't want to spend the money on it and didn't think I could find the time to fit it in. Well Fotofly decided to train some new photographers and do sessions for half price so I signed up, I was shocked to have gotten an appointment since they only did it for two weeks. Well I decided since it was the week of Valentines to also get some of all the kids and surprise Andrew. So the day came to do it and I was just getting the kids all ready and was about to feed Addie since we had an hour to be there. Well Andrew calls and says the someone was Fotofly was trying to get a hold of me to talk about my sesssion. So there goes that surprise! I acted like I had totally forgot in hopes of maybe keep it somewhat of a surprise. Well my session had somehow been switched from a training one to an outdoor one and it caught the photographer eye since I signed up for a newborn session and it February in Utah so I probably really didn't want an outdoor session. Well they had nothing left for the two weeks and I was pretty sad but he worked with me and had me come down later that day. So I rushed Ella to dance and then rushed to get them done getting there a couple minutes late. They were so nice and the owner and other photographer helped the girl that was training that did my pictures. They stayed open an extra hour just to fit me in! It was a great experience and the kids did really well. We got done so late and Andrew was trying to find out where I was so it didn't end up being a surprise but he still got some prints for his gift! I loved the way they turned out and am so glad I have them now!
