Valentines Date!!!

Last Saturday Andrew and I had an opportunity to go out together alone. He had told me the week before he had something he wanted to go do but wouldn't tell me. We were going to get a babysitter but there was a multi stake winter dance that same night so my nice friend Cara offered to watch our kids for us! Thanks again Cara, I really appreciate it!
Andrew got me these pretty roses and a nice card with tickets to the Memphis Symphony! Oh and chocolates! He also made us waffles that morning for breakfast!
I got him a new watch he really needs for clinic this summer! I haven't taken a picture of it yet, it worked out perfect since it was delivered that morning and Andrew had no idea a package had been delivered even though he was home, ha! Ella and Easton got him a card game since I had it in the cart at Target thinking about weather I wanted to get it or not and I looked down and Ella was chewing on it and had green all over herself so we had to get it!

To start off we went and got dinner. We were in a hurry since we left late and so we stopped and got a burger!

Inside the Cannon Center where the Memphis Symphony performs!

The Memphis Symphony put on a Valentines Pops concert with songs from Broadway Musicals and older romance films. It was a really good performance and very relaxing to sit and not be bothered! Two funny things about the night one being the lady next to me hummed EVERY song and sometimes would move her hands like she was the one directing the songs. Even Andrew could hear her! The other funny thing was we were up really close, on the second row and the couple in front of us had binoculars ON THE FIRST ROW and were looking through them a lot of the time. I don't know what they were looking at but they would look talk to the other one and then the other person would look. So strange!

After we rode the trolley back to our car because it was faster then walking! We had a nice lady (we are pretty sure it was a man!) take our picture!
Thanks Andrew for a great night out! I love you!

Bath time together!

After we made Valentines they both needed a bath so we decided to try the bath together thing. Ella wasn't to sure at first but she eventually liked it and kept saying "hi" to Easton over and over again. I can't wait until he can just sit in the bath with her it will make it easier!

Making Valentines

Last week we decided to make Valentines to send out. It didn't last to long Ella liked doing it a lot better last year!
She had a meltdown in the middle of it, she had lots of meltdowns last week!

Easton liked it a lot more then Ella, but then again he doesn't really care about much as long as he is full and has a clean diaper!

He thought it was fun!
In the end we only ended up doing one Valentine each and had black all over but we had a lot of fun doing it!

Easton's Awake!

The second she hears Easton peep she rushes over to his door and bangs on it and practically falls flat on her face when I open it because she is so excited to see him. Sometimes she sits outside his door for a while waiting for him! I am glad she loves him and hope that she always does!

Snow Days!!

Last week we had more snow here! When we moved here we were told it didn't snow really at all but this year has proven that wrong! It snowed on Monday and then again all day Wednesday we had 4 or 5 inches when all it was done! Snow or even the threat of snow here shuts everything down so Andrew got Wednesday and Thursday off! It was fun having him home!
This was about an hour after it started it was coming down pretty fast!

This was right before it stopped

We hung out all day in our pajamas!

Bumbo

Last week we got out the bumbo! Ella liked it a lot so we were hoping Easton would! He loves it because he can sit up and see what is going on which he prefers! He loves to see everything! He will be content longer in the bumbo more then anything!
I love this picture!
His head always seems to be wet from her constant kissing!

Ella actually got him to smile for this one, he was looking right at her!

He eventually tips a little and has to be sat back up!

Ella can't let him be the center of attention ever! I promise I do her hair everyday at least twice! She pulls it out and then looks like this for the rest of the day!

Doll House

Ella loves this Little People house we gave her for Christmas! She also has about a million of the little people dolls! She loves to sit and put them in the front door to the other side. Then she shuts the door and then she goes around and puts them all back through the front door the other way. Today she was trying to get them through a window which wasn't working and was making her extremely frustrated. I love watching her play and it is amazing to me how much she learns everyday!
Here she is on one side putting them through!
Now she is on the other side putting them through!

Fire Museum

Last week we had the opportunity to go downtown with some friends to the Fire Museum! They have firetrucks and an ambulance for the kids to play in. They also have a bucket like on a ladder truck that you can get in and it will raise and lower. I thought Ella was going to enjoy it more but she cried or was clingy most of the time! I think some of the siren noises weren't her favorite!
Here she is in the baby carrier on the ambulance!
The Old Firehouse bell from the early 1900's (it has a pretty cool story behind it!)

They have fire hats for the kids to wear

An old firetruck

She was beyond thrilled to be sitting in there!

She did like pushing the buttons in this truck!

Meltdown...again

They also have a lot of old toys firetrucks and a train that Ella enjoyed!

All the moms!
