Learning to Ride a Bike

I finally had Andrew take off Ella's training wheels on July 11th. She was starting to look funny riding around with them! She literally picked up riding a bike in 5 minutes! She was in heaven! She has done really well!

After she learned we rode down to Smith's because she wanted to try it out on the trail so we rode down to get a family night treat. We walked in the store and they had a boy bike for $50 which is way cheap, I had been looking and couldn't get myself to buy one for 100 or more! So we went for a family night treat and came home with a bike for Easton! We did get a box of Creamies and ate them on the bench outside the store by the trail. We then hoped back on the trail and rode home! Easton was excited to ride his bike home!!

Fire Pit

Andrew made a fire pit in the back corner of our yard this summer! We enjoyed roasting marshmallows all summer long! It is interesting what each kid likes. Easton wants the whole thing - chocolate, marshmallow, and graham cracker, Ella just wants a marshmallow browned, and Addie wants the whole thing but makes a huge mess!! It was a fun way to spend our summer!!

First Lost tooth

Ella lost her first tooth finally on the 4th of July! I was worried Easton would loose one first because his were loose as well! I kind of forced her to let me pull it! It was pretty traumatic for her but then again cutting her fingernails is too so I knew this would be! I kind of had to pin her hands down but it was literally hanging! She was happy once it was out! Silly girl!

The tooth fairy came that night and left a note and some money! She was so excited the next morning!!!

4th of July

This year for the 4th we hosted Andrew's family! It was a hot hot day!
I did Addie and Ella's hair the same and the top looked like a star, kind of hard to tell unless you stand over them!

We had the kids bring swim suits so that they could play in the water!
Any way to cool down was acceptable!

We found this amazing deal on a volleyball set at Costco. It was the last one so they marked it way down! We are excited to have it for years to come and Andrew had already nixed some spots I wanted trees simply because the volleyball net comes first!
The star hair!
Andrew's brother put together some minute to win it games, this one was a root beer chugging contest!

We played a couple fun games of Volleyball! What we could stand, it was so hot! Our poor air conditioner overworked that day! The door being open and closed so many times made it hard to cool and our house never got under 80! That's what happens when it faces west! Hopefully our trees grow fast!

We did fireworks later! Poor Addie touched her sparkler after it went out and burned herself.

She gave herself quite the blister!

We could see the city fireworks perfectly from our driveway!

I have come to the fact that every picture I take someones eyes will be closed and I can try a hundred times it will still happen!

Ready for Church

All ready for church in our Red, White, and Blue!

1 o'clock church is the worst! Addie is so tired and usually falls asleep on the way home. This day she slept all the way to my Grandma's in Holladay. Luckily she got almost an hour in! Plus her boots, they are my favorite and I had to buy them when I saw them! I even got a pair for next year too!
Seriously she looks so cute with her dress, boots, and vanilla ice cream cone!!

Neighborhood Firework Party!

Our awesome neighbors have been putting on a firework show for years! They are so nice to include our circle in their event! They have so many people come. Everyone brings fireworks to share and they provide the treats! The kids have loved going to this the last two years! They said they almost didn't have it this year but it turned out awesome!

Getting them all to look was a joke! This is just our family and two others from our circle, just a handful of the kids that were actually there!
