Andrew took a Friday off in September. We just felt like the summer went by and we hardly did anything as a family. I had taken the kids everywhere all summer and Andrew hardly was able to do anything so we just needed a family day. We pulled the kids out of school at 11 and headed to lunch! We went to a pizza place called Lucky Slice! It is really good! We then headed over to the mall and spent the afternoon at the aquarium. It is a hands on place so you can touch almost everything.
These fish come eat the dead skin off your hands, the strangest feeling ever!
If anyone knows my kids well, (mostly Ella) they hate any animal or bird or bug or fly! She is terrified. We got each kid a coin to go into the birds and feed them! I am surprised that they actually all went in!
It was such a great day together as a family and just what we needed! We appreciate Andrew so much for how hard he works for us and the time he sacrifices for us!
