Andrew's Birthday

Andrew's birthday was the day after Addie's blessing. He was supposed to work but the other guy at his office was really nice and rearranged his schedule so that Andrew could have the day off! His birthday was actually really low key. I think I was exhausted from the day before! He cleaned the entire kitchen from the mess I had made getting all the food ready for the blessing, he really is awesome because it was quite the mess! We were able to spend the day together which is all he wanted! Ella and I went and got him an ice cream cake from cold stone that afternoon and he got to have a nap! We went to Red Robin that night for dinner! My family was nice enough to join us! Andrew got his free birthday burger. Sadly our food wasn't really all that great the sauce on our burgers was pretty much non-existent and our waiter disappeared for quite a while! After dinner we went to my parents and had the ice cream cake and presents! We got him lots of new clothes, he finally has some new clothes! I also got him a keyboard for his tablet which ended up not being the right thing, Mary Poppins (more of a family gift), a new card game, and a gift card. He had gotten himself some new shoes a few weeks before. He got a gift card from my little sister and her husband and cash from everyone else! This last weekend we were able to celebrate his birthday with his family at his mom's. Everyone was able to come and we enjoyed pizza and cake! He also received some more birthday money! He has been able to get himself some things he wanted like some portable wireless speakers to take to work. He is happy to spend his birthday money on himself this year! While in school he never spent it on himself but would put it towards other more important things so I am happy for him this year that he feels he can get himself things because he deserves it! He works so hard for us and doesn't take the time or money for himself very often! We are more than happy to celebrate him and the great dad and husband he is!

Blessing Day

Our sweet Addie girl was given a name and blessing on Sunday March 2nd! We decided that was probably the best day to do it in the next couple months! She was our first child to be blessed in the ward we are actually living in. It was such a special day! She was blessed with two other little babies in our ward, our bishops little boy and another little boy who just moved in. Andrew gave her such a sweet blessing and my mom was nice to write it down for us! In the circle was Andrew, Grandpa Pond, her great uncle Russ, Uncle Brent, Uncle Kyle, my cousins husband Andy, Uncle Matt, Bishop Nelson, and a family friend Jac Chandler. We missed those other family members who couldn't make it! My mom's friend Devon was so nice and took some pictures for before which was so nice of her! I am glad we did them before because it gets crazy after and the kids had been to primary before sacrament meeting so they looked better before! It also gave us more time to get some good ones! After the meeting we gathered back at my parents house for dinner. We did some pulled pork and chicken sandwiches and some BBQ nachos! We had some coleslaw and BBQ baked beans to go with it and some fruit! It was all really good! I had ordered a Corky's cookbook for Andrew for his birthday that we got a few of the recipes out of for the meal and also a case of their BBQ sauce and dry rub for it! It really turned out so good! It was fun to have our families together and was such a great day! Even the weather was nice it was about 60 degrees!

Getting dressed! She isn't a huge fan of getting dressed any day! She wore the same dress Ella wore which was my and my sisters dress as well. I did get her some new shoes and a new bow!

I think this is our first picture as a family of 5! It only took us 5 weeks to get it!

By the time we got to getting just some of her she was done and her 6 week acne was in full force!

Ella helped me take her dress back off so I could feed her one last time before church!

We kept forgetting after to get pictures with other people that were there but got one right before we went home with my mom!

One Month

On February 27th our Addie girl turned one month old! It went by so fast! She really is such a great baby! At one month I would guess she was between 8 1/2 to 9 pounds! She sleeps pretty well getting up once usually at night (occasionally twice) usually around 4. She loves to be held. She doesn't really care for her vibrating seat and prefers to lay on a blanket on the floor instead! We really love this girl and so happy she is ours!

I saw this idea to document each month for the first year to see how much they grow each month! I bought this outfit and it is 12-18 month size and I am going to have her wear it each month and see how she grows! I also got some fun vinyl stickers off of esty for each month that I can put in her baby book after we use them for pictures! 

This one won't rotate no matter what I do! These clothes are huge!

Pizza night

Andrew's sister Becky and her husband Daniel invited us over for a Pizza night a few weekends ago. She made enough dough for the kids to each do their own big pizzas! They had so much fun making their own! It was such a fun night and the pizzas turned out really good!

Random

Taking a bath! I found this awesome bath on clearance at Target the week before she was born. It has a cool sling for when they are newborns, she could just lay there and relax and then I didn't have to hold her and be all slippery!

Those cheeks get chubbier by the day!

Fell asleep in the middle of a show at my mom's one afternoon just like this! He really does still need a nap most days he just gets so tired by 6 if he doesn't, but he then won't go to sleep until 10:30 sometimes 11 at night when he does!
