Easter

We had such a great Easter. It was nice to be around to enjoy it with our families! We started off the day with Easter baskets! The kids had fun finding them! We then had a yummy breakfast and ate it while watching the Mormon Tabernacle Choir broadcast, it was perfect and brought such a sweet spirit into our home for the day. We enjoyed church and ditched out early! We spent a couple hours with Andrew's family and had a yummy dinner. We then went to my uncles house and had some more food! It was such a great day. After dinner my mom, sisters, and our kids piled in my van and headed toward Texas to see my brother and his family. We stopped in Moab that night! It was definitely a busy day!

Easter Party

The day before Easter my sister put together a little Easter party for all of us at my parents house. We had a yummy breakfast, dyed eggs, and the kids had a little egg hunt. Sadly Andrew was at work for the morning and so he missed breakfast and egg dying but he made it just in time for the egg hunt! Sadly two pictures in my camera died so I stole from my sister and the rest are from my phone so not the greatest!

 

Easton loved this! He was really careful and loved seeing the outcome!

Easter Egg Hunt

Friday some neighborhood friends got together at our clubhouse and had a little Easter egg hunt. The kids enjoyed it and got just the right amount of treats! It was such a nice day so after we went and played at the park.

This is Ella with our neighbor Lincoln. I took this to send to my little brother on his mission, his companions brother and family our our neighbors and this is his companions nephew! It's fun to get to know some of his companions family!

Last week after I got out of the shower I came out to find this scene. They had brought all their pillows blankets and stuff off their beds and were laying in the family room playing on the floor. It was so nice that they were playing together and no one was fighting!

St George

Last weekend we had an opportunity to go down to St. George with my family. My little sister was dancing and Andrew had some interviews in Vegas. We headed down Thursday afternoon. We drove with my parents and the kids slept most of the way. We got there and enjoyed playing outside in the sunshine and with green grass! My family had rented a townhouse that fit all of us and it was brand new. It was so nice! We enjoyed it and hope to stay in it again! We had a nice dinner on Thursday and then went swimming. Friday Andrew got up early and drove to Vegas (thanks to my brother in law who let him take his car for the day!) He was gone until about 4. That morning the kids enjoyed playing on the playground while I went to the clubhouse and worked out with my Grandma! While he was gone we watched Sarah dance her duet and wandered through some stores and then went to a park for the kids to play.  He then met us and we all had dinner together. Later that night we watched her dance again and then got the guys Frosty's and then the girls went and got Frozen Yogurt while the guys put the kids down! It was a great little break! Saturday we all got up early and went to watch Sarah dance one last time. After we went to a little cafe for breakfast and we waited for about an hour to get a table. The food was so good though! We then headed back to the townhouse and the guys went golfing and we watched a movie and then went to the outlets. The guys golfed 18 holes which takes forever and then met us for dinner. We then let the guys go home and we went and wandered the mall until they closed. Sunday we woke up and went to church and then headed home! It was such a nice weekend and just what we needed! Thanks to my family for inviting us to come they were so kind and generous with us!

 

I remember not to long ago when swings terrified her! She only wanted to swing for the whole 45 min we were there!

They loved playing outside! I love the green grass, the one thing I don't miss about the South is the terrible grass, if that is what you can even call it!

 This got out of order, but this was Ella riding in my sisters car facing backwards. We were going to the mall and the guys wanted to go home so this is how she rode, it was funny!

Our kids love my sister Katy and Kyle, they preferred them most of the weekend, thanks guys for taking care of them!
