Zoo Lights

This year we were able to go and enjoy the lights at the Zoo. The kids thought it was so fun and having a pass meant free rides on the carousel. It actually was pretty warm out for it being the middle of December. We enjoyed seeing the lights and a few animals. It was a fun night!

Ready to see all the fun lights!

Addie didn't mind the ride!

On our way out we stopped and watched the Grinch show. My brother in laws friend was a part of it so they stopped and took a picture with him after!

Christmas lights

This Christmas we tried to do some fun family activities to celebrate the season. One night we drove around looking at Christmas displays. We found a couple close to our house. The last one we went to had the whole radio station set up and lights to go with the songs. We got there about 2 minutes before a new show started. They have like 4 or 5 different music/light shows so we stayed for one which was about 25 minutes long and really cool! The owner of the home came out before and gave us each a candy cane. He told us we came on a good night the night before they had so many people watching he ran out of candy canes and there were cars everywhere! Addie was so enthralled she loved it!

We drove by another house that night and they had so much it was almost to much!

Hay ride

The second weekend in December we went out with our friends Dan and Mandy and their girls. We went and got some Cafe Rio and then drove over to see some Christmas lights. Layton city has a village of lights they set up and a company offers hay rides for $2 a person for a couple hrs each night on the weekends and then they donate the money to a charity. We luckily got there in time for the last ride of the night. It was pretty nice outside and wasn't to cold. The lights were so pretty and the kids loved seeing them! We decided to make it a yearly tradition with them! We wish we still lived closer!

Family Pics 2014

We had these pictures done the first part of October and I just forgot to put any up. A friend of ours from Optometry School was in town from South Carolina for the week and wanted to do a few shoots while in town. I was thinking about getting some pictures done about the same time and was happy to not have to find someone to do them! We met her at the Hobble Creek Canyon Golf Course in Springville to take them. We were almost 30 minutes late because traffic was so horrible but we were able to get some nice pictures before it got to dark! We enjoyed some yummy dinner after at the Brick Oven! It was a nice night to spend together as a family!

Easton has a different facial expression in most every picture! He makes us laugh!

This fits her personality perfectly :)

Halloween Pics

I forgot I never posted these pics I had done of the kids in their costumes. They were quick and cheap but I love them!
