Random

These are totally random but highlight the little moments of our life!

Easton and I roamed Target back at the end of September or Beginning of October while Ella was at dance. We got a popcorn and ICEE and just walked around. We actually left without buying a thing (besides our treat) which is amazing for us! Now every week when we drop her off he begs to go to Target but we haven't and he gets mad cause we don't!
My sister and her husband went to NYC for the week and Jack got to hang out with my parents and the last day we took him home with us and slept over! It was the best thing ever for Jack! He loves Ella and Easton, but more he loves our van because you can watch and show and he is mildly obsessed with our house. We aren't quite sure why he loves our house so much but he was beaming he was so excited to come over!
Jack also was a cowboy for Halloween and got this new hat and horse which Easton thought was awesome!

Fall Fun

I just found these pictures I forgot from the middle of October. The night before my brother left my mom wanted us all to get together. So we headed to Zupas for some dinner together and then went home and the kids painted mini pumpkins that my mom grew in her garden! They loved painting them! They even got to help her pick them. The night before that my little sister got answered for a dance with a bail of hay so they could sit in the hay with their pumpkins and take a picture. It was sad to say goodbye to our cousins we only see once or twice a year that night but we are excited they are leaving tomorrow (Friday) to come for Thanksgiving!

Sugar Cookies

The Monday before Halloween we had Andrew's Sisters over for dinner. Becky was able to come have dinner with us and then Deb came later after she got done with work. We made and rolled out sugar cookies while they were there. We had a little family night lesson while they baked and cooled and then frosted and decorated them! The kids absolutely love this activity, we should do it more than once or twice a year! It was a fun night and we are glad they could come over and join us!

Sweet Moments

There are some times that I wonder if these two will ever get along, but surprisingly they do about 95% of the time. They are each others best friends and it makes having them so close worth it! They really do play well together and get along really well. Every now and again Ella just really wants to be alone and play by herself but that is hard for Easton to handle still, he is just a little to young to understand it. She usually will let him stick around and is a really great peacemaker in our house! The last few weeks they have really started to be good buddies and I keep finding them in these situations, it makes me feel like I must be doing something right!

She pretty much has most of our books memorized and like to "read" them to Easton. She usually gets the story right on.

The electronics in our house are usually a thing they fight over the most, one morning I let them watch something on mine and they sat like this for most of the show! Usually they are trying to yank it out of each others hands or what not.

Crazy kid

These are from after our family pictures. We had to wait a little bit for our pictures to be edited and so we could preview them. We didn't want to have to drive all the way home so we went next door to the cafe they have at Thanksgiving Point since it was lunchtime. I had always wanted to try that place and was excited to eat! Luckily we found a table since they were hard to come by and we enjoyed our lunch and then Andrew was nice enough to treat us to a brownie sundae which we all loved! It was such a fun day and was nice to spend time together as a family and not have to think about anything else that day!
This kid and his crazy eyes!

He thought he was so funny when he did this!

Tired kid

Having cousins in town for three weeks was so much fun, but very tiring for the little kids! I have not really ever known Easton to fall asleep in the middle of a loud room but this day he did! He was so worn out! Luckily we have been slowly catching up on our sleep since our Texas Cousins will be here again in less than 3 weeks for Thanksgiving break!

Grandma's

The last Sunday my brother and his family were here was conference weekend. My Grandma invited us up to her house for dinner after conference. Her friends from North Carolina were still visiting and she wanted us to all be together. She loves to have a little family night and loves to have all the kids sing primary songs, so that is what we did! The kids loved singing, once they all realized they couldn't have their own books!

Mini Cheer

My little sister Sarah has been doing Cheer this year at her new school. She is on the song leader team which means they do more dancing than some of the other cheerleaders. She has loved it! They were having a mini cheer when Jocey was here from Texas and so my mom paid for the little girls to do it! They were so excited! They had a two hour session on Tuesday where they learned everything. Ella thought she had died and gone to heaven!

Mini Cheer - Performance

Friday October 11th was the big performance night at the football game. They practiced an hour before and then performed at half time! They danced to Monster Mash and Thriller which have now been taken as "Ella's songs." The girls did really good and it was so fun to watch. It was really chilly that night and so Ella was happy to get her jacket on once they were done! Hopefully she can do it when they do it for basketball season, as long as I am not having a baby that same week!
Easton and Tyler had a blast running in the gym for a little bit!

Ready to perform!

Ella was one of the littlest ones, she is in the very middle!
