Christmas Morning!!!

We had such a wonderful Christmas! In keeping with tradition we got up at 6:00 am! After Ella had been up at 1, Easton got up and we finally got to sleep at 3! Three hours of sleep was all we got for the day! Needless to say we were tired but we were still able to enjoy the day. We spent the morning opening presents then we headed to my aunt and uncles for brunch! The guys enjoyed playing games and wii after we ate! From there we headed to Andrew's sister's house. We were surprised that morning that Andrew's mom had drove in late the night before from Arizona! We were excited because we weren't expecting to see them at all the whole break! We had a good lunch and opened presents with them!
My little sister Katy with her package from her missionary, she had it for a few days she was dying to open it!

Trying to keep my eyes open!

She was really hungry and the second she saw her food in her stocking wanted it!

He just layed around all the chaos!

This was before we went and saw what Santa brought us, my little sisters and brother were trying to get my parents up! 6 am is not Ella's time of day, she takes after her mom, not a morning person!

After brunch!

She didn't know if she should touch it or not!

She kept looking at me like do you see all this cool stuff mom!

She loves to empty things out of bags, purses, anything so I knew she would love her stocking and she did! She kept saying oh!

Animal crackers for breakfast why not!

This was the pile of wrapping paper after all was said and done!

Ella's Christmas in Mississippi

Christmas Jammies!!!

Christmas just isn't Christmas without new jammies! These four are the only one who changed into theirs for pictures! Ella was done so we took her picture with her binky so she would be semi-ok!
Ella did not feel well! She was singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!" Her top four teeth started coming through the week of Christmas making her a little honery if it was past bedtime! She proceeded to go right to be only to wake up screaming at 1 am! She was in a lot of pain! We gave her some tylenol and she went back down twenty minutes later! It was such a different Christmas eve that is for sure!

Christmas Eve!!!

This year we spent Christmas Eve with the Duzett side of my family. We have a lot of family traditions on Christmas Eve. We had a delicious dinner and then we act out and read the Nativity. Andrew was Joseph and my youngest cousin Olivia was Mary and Easton was Baby Jesus.

Ella wanted to be with me while I fed Easton in the bedroom so I gave her my necklace to play with she loved it! She kept looking in the mirror on the wall checking herself out!

He can't handle the noise it disgusts him!

The three wise men or wise guys as we called them. Instead of Gold, frankincense, and myrrh they gave them diet pills, pistachios, and an alarm clock!
They had us laughing really hard!

My Grandma and Grandpa Duzett

Spencer and Ella! Ella loves her Uncle Spencer!

Another family tradition we have at Christmas is a Duzett Family Testimony Journal. We have done it for 20 years now. My uncle Todd has put it together for us! We all write our testimonies down and he put them together and into a book. It is so fun to read everyone's testimonies each year and see how much each of us has grown over the years!

Luminaries!!!

Every year for the last 10 or so years my parents have put out luminaries in their neighborhood on Christmas Eve instead of giving each neighbor a gift. Some years the weather is crazy or the wind is crazy but this year it was perfect no wind, snow, rain, and it wasn't too cold either. They always turn out so pretty and it is fun to drive around and see when we get home from my grandma's. A lot of them are even still going when we get up the next morning!

Lazy Days!!

It is nice to just have some days while at home on vacation to just sit around and have nothing to do! But then Uncle Spencer, Uncle Brent, and Andrew find ways to entertain themselves and Ella!

This was the day after we got to SLC and Ella could not keep her hands off of Easton. She would push his seat around the room almost tipping it over a few times!

Temple Square!!!

Tuesday December 21st we made our annual trip to Temple Square! It was really busy but it wasn't as cold as it has been in the past! It was tolerable! We enjoyed walking around and seeing all the lights and different nativities!
Ella was bundled up nice and warm!

Our families tradition after looking at the lights is to go to the Old Spaghetti Factory at Trolley Square so that is where we went after!
We of course missed having my brother Jared and Celyn and Jocey with us!
My mom and dad

Our little Family - Ella loved the Mac and Cheese (and the free Spumoni ice cream)!
